Replaced the Carbon Monoxide Alarm Today

Our RV is 4 years old and while replacing batteries in the Carbon Monoxide Alarm, I found the batteries no longer fit well, resulting in a slightly intermittent contact. Since the alarm was 4 years old, and had a life expectancy of 5 years, I took a look at current offerings.

Here's link to the one I got from Amazon.com for $17.87. Kidde claims a 10 year life.

For less than $20 I figure there was no point trying to eke out another year from the old one.

How old is yours?
