I'm sure glad I have the option to go back and edit all of my mistakes on here. Or at least the one I catch. As most of you have probably noticed writing is not one of my strongest suits. Also I post a lot of my stuff from my small phone and half the time I'm doing something else at the same time, or getting phone calls in the middle of my posting. Sometimes I don't have time to go back and read it again. Thank goodness for edit opyion !!!
You guy's & gal's are probably tired of trying to decode my posts. LOL Sorry.

Jerrod: I never get tired of reading your posts and admiring your mods. Although I have the mechanical skills of a pebble, the mods and pictures you provide give us all ideas on how we can improve our homes on wheels.

Thanks Ron
I really appreciate the kind words. I'm having a blast doing all of my Mod's. And being able to share them will every one just makes it that much more enjoyable for me.
I'm a picture person not a reader or writer.
I don't do the step by step like some do. I post the pictures to give you the ideas and if any of you want more info on anything I do just ask. Or call me if that's better for you.
Once again thank so much for the nice post.

I did a little load test today on the batteries and solar system.
I took the rig up to the truck wash this morning. I unplugged from shore power at 7:00am turned on the smaller fridge invertor went up washed it then put it back in its spot next to my house. I did not plug it back in I just let it run on it's own power. (Invertor on) at about 7:30pm I went out to check it. Batteries were still at 97% - 12.7 volts and at 7:30 pm in the shade of my neighbors house it was only charging at 0.4 amps
So this is 12.5 hours on it's own. I'm a happy camper. Maybe some day I'll need it. Seems like we don't do much dry camping anymore.

Another Mod off my list

I finally got to finish installing the last slide topper cradle.
The spacing on this one was all wrong. Carefree topper and Dometic cradle.
I made two step out blocks out of a piece of 5/8" aluminum square rod, cut to size drilled the holed, then sent them down to my powder coating guy. Picked them up yesterday. They looked perfect.
Today I started trying to find the sweet spot to install the cradle so everything would set right.
Well I had to cut down the back side of my custom block to make it work right.
It all looks good right now but but if I need to I can always make new ones.

This is a before shot it was rubbish paint in the middle from bouncing down the road.

Those look just like my wife's steel toed running shoes. Not very good for running but definitely good for the toes!!

I just noticed that my Ice maker water line replacement wasn't on this thread.
So here's another Mod.
I ended up with a small water leak on the back of the fridge from the ice maker water line. I had to pull the fridge out and run the new 25' stainless steel breaded water line I found on Amazon.
I'll put a few pictures on here and a link to the other thread

Jerrod !!! The 30+ ft light strip @ the link you posted ... Says "for indoor use only" ... Have you had or forsee any issues with them ??? Did the self-stick seem like it will hold thru all weather ??? Or, did you attached some other way ?? Thx

I just used the self stickum backing. I cleaned the frame and put a little new paint where needed. It seems to be holding fine. Time will tell.
As for indoor outdoor I think it had to do with the 120v power supply/control module, which I replaced with the 12V Mi-light module that is now mounted behind the basement wall.

Shower light update :(
The big light (right) is still not as bright as the factory light was (left).

I tried a bunch of these LED lights in previous trailers from Amazon.com. I even put LEDs in the dash of my little Honda. The ones in the dash melted (??). They were flickering and smoking. Didn't know they got hot. Then I started checking the trailer. Some got hot and were melting too! Not sure if it was the little capacitors or what. You might just check on them on occasion. I think some are just really cheaply made.

Sorry- don't have the ones from the trailer in pictures, but these were the dash lights.

I have heard of a problem with the cheaply made lights you can purchase from Amazon. Have you considered Cabin bright?

Project LM 365 has been side tracked again.
This is project fence
Went from 14 year old wood fence with the post rotted off. To steel gate post and steel gates.
The gate opening was 9.5' now it's 11'. So that I can walk through when the dully fenders are in the gateway. Glad it's done.
