It is amazing how much a good support (drawer slide) weighs

Dan this index you created for my thread is incredible. What a task !!! It really has made it nice to browse through and see all of the Mod's without all of the extra bubo-jumbo, now those that just choose to browse through to get ideas for there Mod's they can do it much faster.

    Re: Project LM 365

Another Mod projects in the books.
I received my Furrion wireless backup camera last week before we left. I've been anxious to install it. So today as soon as we got home I tackled the project.
I dicided to go with tying it into my marker lights. I checked voltage with all the light on and found 13.69 Volt's so I think I'm good there. I did find a way to pull 12v off of the rear sconces if I needed to but then dicided that I'd rather be able to control powering the camera on and off with the marker lights.
Done deal now on to the monitor in the truck.

I wanted to hard wire it into the ignition switch of my truck for two reasons.
    1) because I didn't want another cord running down my dash and into a cigarette lighter. And
    2) I wanted it to automatically shut off when I turned off the truck. Also now I don't have to worry about if I forget to shut It off or not. Now it can't drain my batteries.
Next is the location. I mounted it up on top left of my window. Now I can watch my mirror and my camera screen at the same time without moving my head back and forth.

This picture is my rv sitting in my side yard and my truck sitting in my driveway at least 80' feet away from the camera.
So I think things will work out well when hooked up and rolling down the highway.

I had a heck of a time finding a 12v ignition feed but my persistence paid off

Edit ::: I dicided to add a master Kill switch to my trucks camera screen power supply. This way when I'm not towing the trailer around town it will not keep trying to find the camera. Before I installed the switch every time I start the truck it would power on and flash looking for the camera.
Also took a picture of the inline fuse I had installed on the initial install.
    Final result is
(Switch on) when towing everything comes on automatically every time you start the truck, and shuts off when you shut the key off
(Switch off) All systems off, for everyday driving without trailer behind me.

Update: I did like the camera on the upper left corner of the window while pulling the RV. But did notice a bit of a distraction while just driving around town. So now I've chose to move it down to the blind spot at the bottom of the pillar. I've tucked the wires and the antenna into the weather striping to eliminate any vibration of the screen, and used double stick adhesive pad for now. After we get back home I'll come up with a better mount.

    Jerrod,
Very nice and clean. What model of camera did you get? Why did you chose the upper left corner for the monitor. I would think that it might be a distraction during driving. I love reading your post. Keep up the great job.

    Re: Project LM 365

Sorry forgot to add those 2 pics, they are on the post now
As for position I'm going to try this. It's not in my view unless I'm bird watching, LOL and I'm slowly going blind in my old age. If it's to far away I can't see what on the screen.
Also in that position I can watch my left side mirror and the camera screen at the same time without moving my head back and forth.
My next option is to screw it to my dash down below that
Not ready to do that yet.

Update on my water pump silencing Mods
I received my noise meter today so I had to try it out.

This is sitting on my island counter in the kitchen with the bathroom sink on and the haul door closed so you don't hear the water running you'll just hear the pump.
First is the base # pump off

This is water running pump on

Now this is in the bedroom on the foot of the bed hallway door closed and I will turn kitchen sink on.

    Sink and pump off

    Kitchen sink and pump on

Now next chance I get I'll have to test someone else's.

The pump work awesome all week long never turn the switch off the entire week.
That's how thing's are supposed to work.

I think version #4 is definitely working for me
I still have all of my replumbing to do under there and I'll make it even better when I'm done.

    Re: Project LM 365

Just finished a few more Mod's
My Amazon box of 5 more motion sensor came today

I installed a motion sensor and LED light strip in the control cabinet. I installed it on top in the center between the two doors. That way as soon as you open either door the light will come on. I might even at 1 more light on the other door.

I also installed a giant ground bar inside the cabinet behind the control panel. I'm always in and out of there doing mods and adding wires, and I didn't like removing and adding ground wires into the wire nuts over and over.
I found some on Amazon and ordered 1 this one is a bit larger then I wanted but I'll grow into it right. LOL

    Updated edit :
I just added 1 more strip of LED lights inside the control panel.
Also mover the motion sensor over 1" away from the center of the two doors, because it was picking us up as we walked by going down the hall. Moving it over solved the problem and it still comes right on no matter what 1 of the 2 doors you open.
Just having the one light as it was before still had shadows, not any more LOL
And my new lever connectors mad the job a breeze.

    Found these at Walmart

You can see the adhesive backed LED light strip fits right on the inner lip of the cabinet doors, so they are not blinding you when you open the cabinet they are shining straight in

Next one is the LED light in the docking station.
I replaced the factory light with a LED light and installed a motion sensor. Now when ever you open the basement door the light will come on automatically and go off a few min after you close it

    Jerrod,
Do you ever sleep? Each day there seem to be one or two new mods. I like the motion sensor in the UDC.

I kinda have the time on my hands advantage over most working folks. As I run my business from my phone from where ever we are. And have been taking advantage of our flexibility over the last year. I'm kind of semi retired. "Trucking joke LOL"
