Hope this is the right spot to post this.....so here it goes.
I presently have a 2012 F 350 SWD with a Curt Q20 slider hitch (rails) for a 16,000 (GVWR) fifth wheel. The height from top of hitch to floor of bed of truck is 17 1/2 inches. The fiver rides slightly high but, nothing really noticeable and we have about 7-8 inches of clearance at the bedrails. NOW we have bought a 2016 F350 Dually with the Ford puck system. The new truck is approx. 1 3/4 inches lower from the ground to the bed of the truck (probably due to 16" tires, new truck instead of 18"tires old truck). From what I have read on the Curt website is,the highest the Curt Q20 can go is 17inches. SO the way I figure it I'll be about 2 1/4" lower on the new truck.
Here are the questions
1. Is this going to lower the front of the fifth wheel at the hitch so that it is noticeable or do you ride level
2. Does anyone have a similar truck, hitch and trailer weight and what kind of height do you get between the fiver and the bedrail
3. If you have this kind of set up what height is your Curt Hitch set at.

and lastly......am I over thinking this??
