Best Practices for attaching TV bracket to outside of travel trailer

Good Morning everyone!

We recently got a new Heartland Prowler 250BH. I am planning on installing one of those movable tv mounts inside and want to put the second bracket outside (just for football season use, we love September/October camping). Is there anyway special to aim for/avoid when mounting it (or anything really) to the exterior??
