Don't you just love the wet bolts. It keeps the rig from sounding like a 1953 Chevy truck. We spend a lot of time on the East coast and the squeaking was not attractive. Have you ever had a problem with broken springs?
We had our '07 Bighorn repaired last year in Elkhart and they did a great job. We stayed at the Red Roof Inn for a week while they worked on it. Since having the repairs done, gussets and such, we have put on thousands of miles with no problems. I think this is a great company and I think...

Hi Dale and Michelle, sorry we missed you at HHHRV, we have moved North (but not very far) for a while. We will see you at the rally.

Lisa and I have our reservations and will contact you to see about helping out.
Phil, thank you and the rest of the folks who worked so hard to make this happen. We met some nice campers and are looking forward to seeing them at Hilton Head next April. Did I mention the great food?:)
I am planning a suspension upgrade for my '07 Bighorn 3055RL. The upgraded suspension comes with shocks and my rig did not. I am planning on Center Point suspension in the future and have gotten mixed messages about using shocks with it. I would like to know what a factory rep would have to say...
My thought is that if the tires are bouncing that means the springs are getting quite a workout in addition to the tires. It seems shocks are designed to dampen the spring return so that should make it easier on everything. The last spring failure I had was due to twin potholes in Antigonish...
I have a 2007 BH 3055RL and at that time they didn't have shocks. I have had a couple of spring failure incidents that have me thinking about a suspension upgrade to 7000 lb axles with shocks and the newer brakes. I would like to know if this is possible with the frame I have without having to...
I thought of these because of a fascinating post I read at http://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/towing-hauling-rv-forum/215707-trailer-tires-explained.html
This post rates your tires up at the top of the list. It's a really good read. I have had many "blown fenders" and now I think I know...
I was wondering if anyone has any information on Maxii Tires specifically the ST235/80/R16 load range E. I would like to stay with an 80 and it seems the LT's are 235/85/R16 and this doesn't leave room for our leveling blocks. I understand that the Maxii has more reserve capacity than other ST's...
I would buy a Heartland again, in fact we are looking to buy a new rig next year and they are at the top of the list. We recently discovered a problem with our rig while we in Grand Rapids, MI. It was a problem with the construction so we drove down to Elkhart and had a customer rep look at it...
Phil,
I just got off the phone with Rhonda from Oak Plantation and we have a spot but she wouldn't know what number it was until tomorrow when she could look at the computer. Looking forward to this, it will be our first rally. :)
