We replaced the diesel fuel tank with a Titan 52 gallon tank in our F250 short bed truck. Now we have a problem, how do we dispose of the original tank? Found out its hazardous material because of the fuel and the recycling center won't take it. Anyone have some advice?

As many of you know on the forum, we are new to the towing world. We are going on our first "long" trip to Death Valley next week. We have never filled up with gas while towing. Does everyone just go to truck stops? Any advice is always appreciated.
