I installed a new coiled break away cable. I noticed the old one was stuck and hard to pull out. Finally got it out and noticed the center had a little burn mark on it. Threw in the new one, 5 seconds later smoke and half of it falls out...anyone know what's up with this? For what it's worth...

I'm looking at buying a pullrite hitch to replace my reese, anyone know if I can use my existing rails? Also, pullrites have some good success with anyone? The hitch is a good deal, but a 100 miles away so I want to make sure it will work before the drive. Thx
