    Exterior Door Keypad

I have a 2012 Landmark San Antonio. It has a lock/unlock keypad for the exterior entry door. That worked last season but does not now work. I suspect the transmitter unit is not working probably because of a battery. Problem is I cant find that transmitter anywhere. Anyone know where it...

RM1350 Ice Maker - No Water

Well I solved the problem of no water to the ice maker in my San Antonio. I verified that water was flowing from the solenoid into the line to the icemaker. Unfortunately I discovered the line has a leak but the leak is way up the line where it is not accessible to repair. I suppose the...

RM1350 Ice Maker - No Water

I put air into the solenoid when the manual cycle called for water. Still no result. I suspect a bad solenoid.

RM1350 Ice Maker - No Water

Yes, the wire arm in the ice maker is all the way down. When I cycle the ice maker manually the arm lifts up to dispense ice and then drops down again. Of course there is no ice because there is no water.

RM1350 Ice Maker - No Water

Yes I disconnected the tube to the solenoid. Water was flowing to the solenoid but not through it. I do not have a water dispenser in the door, only the ice maker

RM1350 Ice Maker - No Water

Landmark 2012 San Antonio - Trying to restart the ice maker on my RM1350 for the season. Water to the ice maker is turned on. Plastic tube going from the water supply to the solenoid is full of water and no air in it. I checked to make sure water was flowing from the tube to the solenoid...

Draining Ice Maker Tray & Moving Chairs

Apparently you dont actually have to drain the ice maker tray as it is made to store ice cubes so freezing shouldnt hurt. However I did drain mine just so the water wouldnt get stagnant and I feel better about not leaving water in it. I had to unscrew the tray from the back wall and lift it...

    Generator Question

I have a Landmark San Antonio. I am getting ready to purchase a generator. Of course the coach has LP so can I assume the only option is to purchase the model which runs on LP. I have a Diesel truck hauler so it seems like a no brainer that I need an LP model. Gas versions are of course are...

our battery is only lasting approx. 8 hrs. after being fully charged ?

I did not think there was a separate fuse just for the fan. I pulled the fuse just to see what would happen. It shut off the power to the fridge completely. Do you have a separate fuse for the fan? I have a Landmark San Antonio so may be a different setup.

FIXED! - No Lights in Battery Power in San Antonio

Re: No Lights in Battery Power in San Antonio Okay, thanks Dan and everyone. I finally found a very small reset button in the battery compartment under one of the terminals. Reset it and we are good to go. Such a simple solution when you know what to look for. Only had the rig for a couple...

FIXED! - No Lights in Battery Power in San Antonio

Re: No Lights in Battery Power in San Antonio Thanks for your reply. I have a voltmeter but since I dont really know what I am doing it is just a shot in the dark. I checked the battery as you suggested. With the disconnect switch on and shore power off the reading at the battery is 12.6...

FIXED! - No Lights in Battery Power in San Antonio

Re: No Lights in Battery Power in San Antonio :confused:Thanks for your reply and attachment. Unfortunately I guess the configuration on my 2012 San Antonio is different from your rig. You show seven terminals at the battery. I have only five and there is no obvious reset button. I studied...

    Ice Maker water shutoff

I had to unscrew mine from the back wall, two screws and 3 screws in the bottom as well. Take it out and drain off the water. An easy step to miss, but important as that water would freeze.

FIXED! - No Lights in Battery Power in San Antonio

I have a fairly new 2012 Landmark San Antonio. A Mystery for RV Detectives. On Shore Power everything works. All lights working. When Shore power is disconnected and battery power takes over no lights will work. Batteries are fully charged and battery disconnect switch is on. Slideouts and...

Winterize ICE make on 2011 Grand Canyon

After I turned off the water supply to the icemaker, blew water out of the supply tube and blew water out of the solenoid valve, there was still water in the icemaker tray itself which would freeze. So I had to unscrew the icemaker from the backwall, remove it and empty the water. Blowing air...

    Fresh Water Tank Drain

    Ice Maker water shutoff

Thanks everyone. I found the ice maker shutoff. Just think Heartland should make it more accessible. Shouldnt have to unscrew a panel in the storage area to access vital components.

    Fresh Water Tank Drain

I have a new Landmark San Antonio with Yeti package and sealed underbelly. I have a dumb question. Can anyone tell me where the drain valve is for the fresh water tank? My previous RV had a clearly marked water drain valve but not this one. All I can see are the winterizing valves in the...

    Winterizing RM1350 Ice Maker

Thanks Dave. Very good to know the large copper line is for the gas. I was thinking it was for water. I just have one further question. I found the poly water line at the refer but I cannot see the line you refer to from the solenoid that goes to the ice maker. Is that also a white poly line...

    Ice Maker water shutoff

I have a new Landmark San Antonio. I posted previously about winterizing the Ice Maker. It was lengthy so here is a quick question. Where is the water shutoff for the Refer Ice Maker? It seems the shutoff is different for all Landmark models. Havent seen any posts for the San Antonio...

    Winterizing RM1350 Ice Maker

I am a new owner of a Landmark San Antonio with a Dometic RM1350 Refer with Ice Maker. I will need to winterize the ice maker. Hopefully I can do this myself even though the instruction say to have a qualified tech do the work. I am sure there are many out there who have done this thus my...

    RM1350 Refrigerator

Question for anyone using the RM1350 Refrigerator for dry camping. Does it use a lot of battery power? Have a new San Antonio with this refrigerator and with only that running it seemed to discharge the batteries excessively. I know it runs basically on gas but there is a circulating fan...

    Noisy Fridge Fan

    Filling Fresh Water Tank

I am sure this has been discussed in other threads but couldnt specifically find it easily. Thus the question: I have a Landmark San Antonio. Can I assume the only way to fill the Fresh Water tank is to stick a hose in the water fill port. I did that and had a little problem with water...

Short Battery charge life in San Antonio

Sounds like the 6V Batteries may be the way to go. Can you tell what the type of 6V you are using (eg: T105?)(Size?). I am limited on the size on can fit in my battery box. Current type 27M 12V are L 12 3/4, W 6 3/4, H 9 3/4. Can you tell what type of Trojan 6V batts you are using. I am...

Short Battery charge life in San Antonio

My manual say my refrigerator unit (Dometic RM1350) has an automatic Low Ambient Control so I guess there is no way to overide or disable it. Also I cannot see any switches controlling this. Guess this is useful for low temp operation.

Short Battery charge life in San Antonio

Short Battery charge life in San Antonio

What is the advantage of the six volt batteries. How does that increase the amps? How do you hook them up when using more than one? Sounds like two six volt batteries would equal one 12 volt. Would it be better than two 12V batteries hooked up in parallel? I am not smart on this subject so...

Short Battery charge life in San Antonio

What Heartland unit can I tow?

Just bought a Landmark San Antonio. Hauling with a Ford F-250, 6.7 Diesel. Seems to be working well so far. Fuel mileage drops very much but that is to be expected with the 40' trailer and 16,000 lbs.

    San Antonio - Suggestions

Not sure this is where I should post this. We just bought a 2012 San Antonio. Very pleased so far overall. A strong suggestion would be a better placement of light switches. A light comes on when you enter the front door but goes out very shortly. Then you are left in the dark unless you...
