I picked the unit up from dealer. They handed me the shock. The rubbers are shot and the shaft is bent at the bottom. The shock is tiny! Something I would expect on maybe a Smart Car. It says in big letters, "Made in China". I have a call into Heartland.

Is there a list of Heartland Dealers by state or .............? We are on a 8 month trip in our BH 3570RS and have several occasions to need some assistance and it sure would be handy if we can fined one.

Can anyone give me advise on how to touch up the little rust spots on the steps and frame? I want to keep these parts looking good as well as stay ahead of the rust. I am hoping to be able to do it myself while on the road and inexpensively.

It is interesting that the manual does say, "not to use for changing tires". On the other hand the Lippert DVD that came with mine also says it is ok.

I do not know how Heartland operates but apparently some RV manufactures give the crews a bonus for getting more units out in a given period of time than has been determined to be the average.

The electrician that corrected our issue would tighten the connector, then wiggle it, tighten some more, wiggle, tighten etc. He said he always does this. I could see that after wiggling the wire came loose. Eventually it stayed tight.

Can anyone explain to me what the purpose of the brackets attached to the far real of the frame are for? I have a 6 point leveling system so I had guessed they are for drop down stabilizers. Since then I have seen units with these and they are mounted in front of these brackets.

I have a 2014 Bighorn 3570RS. The latch for the right hand closet door is screwed into approx. 1/8th inch panel. On the first trip it pulled out. I used a hole saw from the washer/crier closet to install a backing plate made of wood. I covered it with a blank electrical plate.
