    2008 Cyclone 4012 axle & spring upgrade

CrazyB, I have an '08 Cyclone 3912. Already switched to 16" wheels/tires. Where did you get the 6 leaf packs? Did they require longer U-bolts? Appreciate any info you can give me. Thanks, RVV

    Greetings from 3Gstore - Matt

I purchased a Cradlepoint CTR500 fr/ 3Gstore several months ago. Has been an excellent router. Had a question regarding a newly added device. Called 3G; spoke to Cory (apparently one of Matt's co-workers). Excellent, friendly, spot on help. THANKS!

    Small car in garage

Are you going to be able to stay within the max. gross weight for the 3914? When I weighed my 3912 at the Branson Rally it was slightly over 17000 lbs. No fluids on board (fresh, grey, black, etc.) I would also like to get a Smart Car but I'm concerned about the TOTAL capacity of the trailer...

EVENT: Heartland Chapter Rally: IA, Amana * - 10/1/2010 to 10/03/2010

Re: Videos taken during games after potluck dinner Thanks to everyone for making the first Iowa Rally so enjoyable. Mark and Jennifer, you set the bar exceptionally high for all future rallys. We too would echo the praise for the "Ketelsen Krew". It takes more time and work than meets the...

    Axle Roll

Just got my Safety Recall Letter this morning. Spoke to Steve Kennel at the Heartland Warranty/Service Department. I stated that a sticker was not an acceptable remedy. I said I thought we should be given axles rated at least for 5200 lbs. That's what we had purchased. He said Heartland...

    Power Converter Warranty

If you are out of the warranty period, call progressive dynamics anyway. They can sell you a factory rebuilt unit for substantially less than a new unit. As described above, they will send you a replacement unit; then you ship your defective unit back to them. I had my rebuilt on the second...

new Heartland - what truck would be the best?

My 3912 weighed a touch over 17,000 at the Branson Rally. Probably around 300 lbs. of LP and fresh water. No grey or black water. No toys. Obviously wouldn't take much to put it over the 18,000 max. gross rating. Pin weight is affected by what's in the garage so its hard to say what you should...

    New Cyclone Owners

WELCOME! Always great to have another Cyclone owner on board; especially when its a 3912. We have certainly enjoyed ours. You'll find all kinds of previous discussion on this forum regarding tow vehicles and "how big" is "big enough." Enjoy your Cyclone and remember the rallying cry of my...

    A Christmas Poem

Always, but especially at this time of Christmas, I encourage each of you to do something extra (even if only a thought or a prayer) for those men and women who are willing to give ALL to perpetuate our way of life and our safety. Most of them are not as concerned about monetary compensation as...

EAA fly In - Oshkosh WI

Donna, I wrote a lengthy post last night only to have my browser or the website "dump it." Didn't have the energy to retype it. Camping is the best way to attend Oshkosh. My wife and I have done it for the last ten years. This will be my 23rd year of attendance. If you would like some...

    Winterizing!

Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam! HT, Be sure to mark the "high snow mark" somewhere on your rig! Some spot on the front cap will probably be high enough. Or one of the A/C units. I'm sure that by the time the Goshen Rally rolls around you'll be able to look back and laugh about it...

How about a Landmark with a Garage???

We had looked at toyhaulers semi-seriously for several months. Despite the length of some of them, all the units we toured seemed cramped. The first time we stepped into the Cyclone, neither of us said it, but we both knew we had found what we were looking for. It was the first unit we had seen...

How about a Landmark with a Garage???

Suffice it to say that Gayle and I are not enamored with the "Full Throttle" graphics on our 3912. Of the current options, we preferred the graphics option HT has on his 3950 (HT also has the cherry interior! Nice!) But we did like everything else about the unit (standard items and options)...

Olevia TV failure after 3 weeks

Olevia TV Sent email to you earlier. Not sure I sent it correctly. I also had an Olevia TV fail after only a few days. I called the customer service number in the TV's Manual. The tech asked me a few questions and then said they would be sending me a new TV. The set arrived three or four days...

    Slow Connection

Although I access this site at different time periods during the day, I can't say that I've ever experienced unusually slow speeds. But, apparently some members do. Apology

IMO StevieWonder has it pretty much right. Censorship, warranted or not, tends to stiffle candid discussion. Ironically, it tends to have a greater affect (stiffling) on the "good actors" than it does on the "bad actors." The reverse of what you would hope. In my relatively brief exposure to...

    YIKES! Mouse in the house!!

For extended storage periods try BOUNCE dryer sheets. They MUST be the ORIGINAL scent. Put them EVERYWHERE. They may not keep 100% of the mice out, but the mice tend not to stay long enough to do damage (like chewing). They are more effective than mothballs and some (my wife for instance)...
