Hi, Did you leak ever get fixed? I noticed the same on our BigCountry.

    Accessing A/C Return Air Vent?

Great info, thank you! Yes, I have a ducted system so this is exactly the troubleshooting I was looking for. Between this and the link wdk450 posted, I have enough to keep me busy this weekend.

Thanks. I did a search for “short cycling” and came up with different threads.

    Accessing A/C Return Air Vent?

I have a 2018 BC 4010RD and the bedroom A/C is (what I believe) short cycling. It’ll run normally for a bit, shut off, then kick right back on within 15 seconds. I’ve checked all the vents, reset the system, cleaned the filters, set the fan to “high” instead of “Auto” but I think it’s time to...

    Adapter for Air Chuck?

This is exactly why I asked the question. I would be using it to mostly just top off the tires. Didn’t realize the speed for airing up on the 400 was faster than the 450, but it looks like it’s not a massive gain so either way I’d be happy with both.

    Adapter for Air Chuck?

Considering the 400P and the 450P are both showing $249 on Amazon right now, is there any reason NOT to get the 450P?!?

That’s exactly the one I was looking at!

    Adapter for Air Chuck?

Wow, good to know. The one around the corner from me didn’t seem to have a max as I was able to put 60psi in the front tires (just couldn’t reach the inside duallys). Didn’t think about other stations being fixed at 45psi; all the more reason to get the viair.

    Adapter for Air Chuck?

I think I just found it: Milton 684-4 - - - Updated - - - Thanks cookie, I didn’t see your reply before I posted again. The straight chuck doesn’t work that great for me because the way the tire valve is angled. I have a 2017 F-350 and others have suggested the angled chuck. That kit seems...

    Adapter for Air Chuck?

Anyone know off the top of their head what adapter I need inorder to use this air chuck with a standard gas station air compressor? The intent being I could pull up to any gas station air compressor and still air up my dually tires. I’m new to this, so if I’m going about this the wrong way...

    Christmas Came Early...

Thanks everyone! As always, we were able to use a lot of information on this forum to help with the research before making the purchase. We love the Magnetic color as well and so happy we were able to get it. We almost ended up with a practically identical truck in Black, but the dealer found...

    Christmas Came Early...

After over a year of research (and starting our full-timing adventure in our Big Country 6 months ago) we finally added the TV to the equation. I picked up our 2017 F-350 Lariat 6.7L Deisel DRW CC 3.55 Axel on Tuesday and couldn’t be more excited. I have a long list of mods planned, but first...

    F-350 Tow Rating Same for 3.55 & 4.10?

F-350 Tow Rating Same for 3.55 & 4.10? Yeah, that seems weird. I would think that gap would be wider. So I’m going to tow a 5th wheel, what’s the benefits of getting the 4.10 gearing other than the extra 500lbs? The 3.55 puts you at lower RPMs at highway speeds and gives you better MPGs...

    F-350 Tow Rating Same for 3.55 & 4.10?

Am I reading this right? For an F-350 DRW 6.7L V8 Diesel 4x4 CrewCab 8’ Bed, the 5th wheel tow rating is effectively the same for both a 3.55 axle and a 4.10 axle? 27,300lbs vs 27,500lbs? That does seem right...

Feedback wanted on new Pinbox and Hitch selections

Jim, Lots of great info and pictures in this thread, but if you don’t have the time to read 47 pages, start with JWalker’s post on page 42 (#413). He has a couple more pictures on page 45 with the hitch pulled out.

Thanks. I was wondering about that.

    Replacement Brakeaway Line?

Thanks. Sounds like it's best to replace the whole switch at this point since I don't know how long it's been missing. We don't have to move for awhile so a mobile service tech might be in my future just to be safe.

    Replacement Brakeaway Line?

Is that all it is? A piece of plastic that separates the two metal pieces inside the box? Can I just shove a piece of plastic in there for the time being? How can I check to see if the brake assemblies are damaged?

    Replacement Brakeaway Line?

We've been at an RV park for awhile now and today I noticed my emergency brakeaway line was missing. Nothing on the ground, nothing plugged into the connection box, nothing. I don't know if someone took it, or if it fell off and was picked up by the folks who do the lawn or what. But regardless...

    AT&T Mobley Hotspot

    AT&T Mobley Hotspot

My Mobley came with a sticker on the back that says what the SSID is, and admin login info. You should be able to figure out the SSID by looking at what networks are available before and after you power on the Mobley.

What Options Would You Want on a Ram 3500?

Thanks for all the feedback; there was a lot of information here that I really appreciate. I definitely play with add-ons a lot so it's good to hear the aux switches work as advertised. And I haven't heard much about the air suspense option so thanks for that. And thanks for the tip on the...

What Options Would You Want on a Ram 3500?

Exactly! Only reason I didn't include the bed liner as a "must have" was because I know I can easily add it after the purchase. And good point on the 4x4. This was the same as the bed liner, only reason it wasn't a "must have" was because I know I can add it after the fact. I'm trying to...

What Options Would You Want on a Ram 3500?

Hmm, good point. My wife has a hard time getting into my Jeep right now so she'll most likely have the same issue getting into the Ram with the side steps. I'll have to take a look at the Amp steps, thanks. -Jeff

What Options Would You Want on a Ram 3500?

Chris, This is an awesome explanation, thank you! My rational behind the 4.10 was so I could be flexible if I wanted to get something heavier down the road like the DVR Mobile Suites. I didn't consider running at 2330RPMs vs 1750RPMs at 80mph. I'll have to reconsider this. -Jeff

What Options Would You Want on a Ram 3500?

Ok, it's time to pull the trigger on a TV. We have a 2018 Big Country 4010RD 5th wheel we bought in March and we're currently full timing in it. I had someone move it from the dealership to where it currently sits in an RV park. We aren't going anywhere until next summer so getting a TV wasn't...

How to Access the Underside of a Slide

Well, I was convinced there was some sort of small void between the floor I stood on in the slide, and floor I could see underneath the slide; I was wrong. It is one solid piece of wood about 3" or more thick. There are no rollers, but instead one long strip of plastic the wood floor slides on...

How to Access the Underside of a Slide

We have the type that drops level when it's out. I wonder if I can bring the slide in just enough so it lifts up, then maybe I can try and peak under as you suggested. I'll give that a try.

How to Access the Underside of a Slide

Oh, I didn't think of the jacks popping. We do have the 6-point leveling system. If that was the case, wouldn't we have felt the RV move?

How to Access the Underside of a Slide

Hi, we have a 2018 Big Country 4010RD that the wife and I have been full timing in since May. We were sitting at the dining table (which is contained within its own slide) when we heard a loud snap followed by what sounded like debris hitting a floor. We looked all around and couldn't see where...

Big Country 4010RD - What is this switch for?

It should control the LED lights above the entertainment center. They provide some back lighting reflecting off the ceiling.

Another Big Country 4010RD Office Mod

When we started looking at RVs to full time in, a big factor of the floor plan was to have space we could turn into an office in order to work from home. This led us to the Big Country 4010RD since it had two couches facing each other and a love seat facing the TV. The idea was to remove one of...

Getting Ready To Put A Hole In My New RV

We definitely have increased performance on our hotspot, but it's still not as good as we were hoping. I'm holding out judgment until we move to a new spot at the end of June. We have an extremely limited signal here to begin with.

Getting Ready To Put A Hole In My New RV

I finally got around to this last weekend. Measured everything out, used a stud finder, measured again, then went for it. I'm happy to say I didn't have any problems getting through the wall and didn't hit anything in the process. Pictures are below. The cable from the antenna stands out against...
