We had that problem too I took the shower en closer completely apart and recaulked the whole thing when I REASSEMBLED it.that stooped all the leaks.I made sure that I caulked under all the pieces that were on the bottom and the walls.
I would think that if the TT you are looking at has a tongue weight less then the truck is rated for you would not need them,if it is more then they would be helpful.
Neat looking shotgun.I will stick with my S+W mod 500 with 500 gr hollow point.more hitting power longer range and 2 lbs lighter 10 inches shorter.Only downside is it only holds 5 rds,but if you need more your heart or your head is not in it.
I had the same tilt on ours.I had to pull the top off the bed frame(head of the bed) to see how to adjust it.The adjustment was real easy. However on our ER I had to use a jack on the outside edge of the slide to hold it level while I did the adjustment on the inside. From start to finish it took...
I just checked all of ours and did not find any cracks at all.We full time and our AC is on all the time so the interior stays at a even temp and humidity. So it sounds like a design problem.
I guess I should have looked at the active post before I started a new thread.I changed out the stove light with a LED bulb it is made by Star Light. The part number is Revolution 921-160.the cost was 27.49 I feel it is worth it becuse you can see what you are doing and it should last 60,000 hours.
Findley found a light bulb for the stove light on our Eagle Ridge. After 2 years the one thing that really annoyed us was the stove light it was not worth even Turing on.We found a LED light that is 160 lumen's and just plugs into the socket.now when we hit the switch we can see what is in a...
Over the years seeing what the chemicals at Blue Beacon as well as other truck wash locations do to the finish of my truck I only wash our unit by hand.I use a soft brush and gel cote friendly soap.I also do the rubber roof treatment at the same time twice a year.It may be a little labor intense...
You might want to look at the Viewcube it gets its power off the coax so you don't have to run the dc cords. I have been using mine for almost 4 years now and have not had a problem yet.Just a thought.
Congrats on the new unit. When you go to pick it up plan on at least 4 hr for the pdi a hole day would be better.Make sure that you work everything in the unit.Have the dealer fill all the tanks so you can check for leaks, and make sure the water pump works.Be very picky so that it is all...
We had the same problem in our ER got 2 #4x1/2 inch SS screws driled small hole in the end of the strainer screwed in the screws left about 1/4 of the screw out and no more problem.
We had a leak in one of our slides it was a window that was leaking they missed a screw hole putting the outside and inside half's together and the screw that missed the hole held the outside seal out just far enough to leak.
Re: ATF: Elk / Eagle Ridge - frount jacks
The first switch on our 2010 ER went out the 2nd time we used it.took it back to the Dealer and they replaced it under warranty.
I had that happen on our 2010 Eagle Ridge. On ours it was really not the door but the panel next to it that made it look like the door.I removed the entire enclosure and cleaned the area and then resealed it out it back together and have not had a problem since(almost 2 years).
Well I can say I found the problem.Took the ceiling cover and the mounting plate off to get a good look at the system.what I found was the plenum was coming louse and the aluminum tape that covers the gap between the ceiling and the roof had large holes in it.
I went to Lowes and got a roll of...
UPDATE I removed the outer cover and looked close at the inner cover and did find a small air gap.So I took plummers puddy and made sure that the area around the wires was sealed well and then used Gorllia Tape and went around the upper and lower seal and this really helped. Did not totaly stop...
The front AC unit is making water on the recirc side.it only dos it when the unit temp control is set more then 1/2 way to the more cold position.I have made sure that the drains are clear and also built up the hight of the drain tank walls.this is what the local dealer tecs have said to do but...
I am glad that you asked this question.I was at the dealer yesterday and saw that they were putting slam doors on the new units.I was thinking that it would be cool to do it to our early 2010 Eagle Ridge.Hope you get a reply from the factory soon.
Great Ideas I am looking for the right size linear actuator so all the wife has to do is hit a switch to raise the bed.I guess when I find it I will do this kind of thing too. Thanks for the pics.
Welcome to the Heartland forum.Like you we looked for over a year be for we made our choice. There are a lot of good people here that want to help so visit often. ASK ANY QUESTION and you will get an answer it may not be the one you want but it will be what is true. This site has helped us more...
I use the X chock are they like the roto chock.I sometimes pull the ER with the big truck and have to really lock up the wheel to hook and unhook and they work really well. They were somewhat pricey but worth it.
I get up there twice a year and clean and inspect it.I look at it this way,the morning dew will atract the dust in the air and enough of it will make the roof really dirty. The dirt builds up in the drain areas and then the rain will not flow like it should. This leads to standing water and that...
We are close to our 2nd year on our Eagle Ridge and after the warranty was up have only had a water leak at the water heater(replaced the seals myself around a dollor) and had to adj the kitchen slider. This has been a Great unit and we love it.
I do wonder about some of these posts,I have one of Heartlands less expensive units and have had a few things that went wrong with it.When it was under warranty Heartland did all they could to get it repaired ASAP.After the warranty was up Heartland is still helping me with Info and dealer...
Welcome to the Heartland family.I know that you will really enjoy your ER. We love ours.Besure to do a good PDI plan on at least 2 hours for it.run the slides in and out several times to make sure the adj is right b4 you leave.ER is a great unit for a great price.we have a slider hitch in our TV...
There is only one thing to remember when you use the truck lane and that is fuel and move forward to allow the truck behind you to start fueling while you are paying.I also use the truck stop guide runs about 20 bucks and can be gotten at most major truck stops. This seems to be the most accurate...
Welcome to the Heartland family and congrats on the new ER we have had our ER for 1 and 1/2 years and still love it.few minor problems most taken care under warranty.I know you will enjoy yours.
I know CO requiers chains. I would buy a real cheep set just to show the police. Becuse if chains are required to drive I will find a place to park.Too many years on the road to take a chance on what can happen on snow and ice.
Well we had our first water leak in the ER.I think that it was in the rear window of the living room slider.I found a 3/16 inch gap between the window frame and the exterior wall.Pulled the window out and resealed it and put it back in.One of the screws that hold it the inside frame to the...
I think what you are talking about is not taking oxygen out of the air but to pull more moisture out of the air. There are a multitude of these products on the market and most of them work.when you use them make sure that the container you use is plastic because these chemicals are corrosive and...
