How many pets travel with you?

Thanks Dan. Yep, don't want kitties to go AWOL.

    Is the BH 3670RL retiring??

We absolutely need a desk for our work. I have four websites to maintain. The laptop is always out on top of it and the printer fits perfectly in the shelf below the counter. Plus I need room for paperwork. What would I do with all those things if we had just a slide out drawer under the tv? I...

    Is the BH 3670RL retiring??

Checking out the floorplans for BigHorns on the Heartland site last night, and it shows the BigHorn 3670RL as "Dealer Stock Only". Can this be true? Is this the end of the line for the 3670? That is such a popular model and one we're partial to.

How many pets travel with you?

Two cats. They travel in two crates in the back seat of the truck, but then they tell us they have to come out once we get rolling along.

    Heartland vs Keystone

I'm with Dave (codycarver), all that he said. If we, at some time, decide get another RV, it will be a Heartland of course. We really like the unit we have, and have made a few mods to fit our lifestyle, but Heartland is constantly changing (and listening to it's owners). So some day we might...

That sounds like a interesting option. That would give both coasts a chance fairly often. Sent from my cell using Tapatalk2

Where should we hold the 2014 North American Heartland Owners Rally?

That leaves us out for another rally. I guess I'll be getting pretty old before it's back in the western part of the country.

Rockerdude, This may be more information than you need, but here's a link to my post a while back on our installation and wiring of our rooftop dish. //heartlandowners.org/showthread.php/35397-Satellite-TV?p=282971&highlight=#post282971

    Single ladies at Rallies

Although I'm not a single lady, I've enjoyed reading this thread. On trips, I share the driving, and also most of the outside chores of the rig, except hooking up the truck to the king pin (that's on our to-do list for training). We personally think the wife should be trained in all aspects of...

    our stacking washer & dryer

Hmmmm. Trace how do you rate getting the larger closet? That smaller w/d closet is Mike's. I have the 2-door mirror side. Mike doesn't seem to think he needs more than two shirts, I, on the other hand, am trying to get all my clothes I had in my huge walk-in closet from our stick house in my...

    Traveling with your pets forum

That's really interesting. One of our cats, that normally loves staying in the crate in the back seat, decided he doesn't like it anymore and wants to lay on the rear floor. I prefer him in the crate while traveling because he doesn't like being handled at all. Ever! So maybe the wet ones has...

    Traveling with your pets forum

Re: Hey - a new forum to discuss traveling with your pets It's been fun seeing some photos of the cats travelers. We usually see the dogs because people are outside walking them, but cats, for the most part, are inside the rv's and we don't usually see any. They are our traveling buddies too...

    Traveling with your pets forum

Re: Cat NOT a Good Traveller Our two cats travel with us in the truck. We have a cat crate for each and put them on the rear seat of the crew cab. We also put walking jackets on them so we can open the door of the crate, one at a time, and I can put a leash on them if needed. One particular cat...

    Lost our baby!

Just read your post and I can feel your loss. Been there. Meanwhile, my husband is traveling, but I'm not alone because I have my two boys with me. These little guys really become part of our family don't they? Whether ones loss is a cat or dog, time will lessen your pain but you'll never...

Just happened - super low water pressure in bathroom

Hi Trace, Yes. It was the the inline water filter. It just seem to plug up all at once. Dave got me thinking when he said that sometimes the kitchen faucet appears to have more really than it really does. Before that, I had ruled out the filter. But I removed it from the line and everything...

EVENT: Heartland Owners Camp-Out: AZ, Quartzsite - 1/17/2013 to 1/24/2013

Trace, I'm sure everyone will have fun together at Quartzsite. Sorry we can't make it with you guys. Timing is off for us. We'll be going there on the 29th for only two nights then on to Tucson. Even our plans for there got changed and we have to cut that short. Have fun everyone. Sent from...

Just happened - super low water pressure in bathroom

Dave, Thanks for the idea. So maybe the kitchen has the same flow as the bathroom, and the faucet makes it appear different? That would make more sense. What I didn't do was remove the inline filter because I thought if the kitchen was okay then that wasn't the problem. But maybe it is...

Just happened - super low water pressure in bathroom

Okay, I did that. Let it run about 20 secs. for each way. Don't see any difference. Been on the phone with hubby, he's at a loss as to what the problem is. Every time he came up with something, I said yeah, but the kitchen works fine. Wondering if something, from somewhere, broke off and is...

Just happened - super low water pressure in bathroom

Dan, That's what I did with the flashlight. Luckily we have the black wall on Velcro. I looked behind the UDC to where city water comes in and followed the hoses. Followed where they teed. Didn't see anything unusual. We were in there just last week with the flashlight and hubby was pointing...

Just happened - super low water pressure in bathroom

The pressure regulator is at the post. And I did unhook the hose from the rv and ran the water from the faucet at the post and it worked great. Since we were anticipating colder weather, hubby moved the blue filter cartridge from the post to the inside of the UDC before he left. The weird thing...

Just happened - super low water pressure in bathroom

Water pressure was fine this morning when I woke up at 24 degrees outside. It's 66 degrees now, so things are warming up (3 p.m.). Hoses and outside faucet are wrapped. Then about 11 a.m. I noticed there was hardly any water when flushing the toilet. Kitchen sink is fine. Checked the shower and...

We replaced our stock one with an Oxygenics too. We ordered the brushed nickel from Camping World online because they didn't have that finish in the store. It really makes the low water volume seen like much more. Yeah, it's a bit heavier, wants to slide down the post, be we hadn't removed...
