We just purchased this unit from a financial institution that unfortunately had to reposesses from the original owner; that being said, what a very impressive 5th. We pulled it a little over 225 miles back to our home base in rural Lee, Florida (Madison County in the northern part of the state) and when we arrived the electric power jacks failed to operate. We did not receive ANY of the normal manuals for the unit, and so are operating in the dark. In addition, it has a air mattress sleeper couch, but we don't yet know how to operate it (need it for the grandkids !!!) We look forward to an lot of great use of this unit and need help in getting it de-bugged. Email us, or just let us know where the best info sources are, and thanks.......Coy & Maria Donaldson

Pitacoy, welcome to the forum. There is a lot of good information here.
You want to know the best source of information? You found it. This forum.
Take a look at the top of the page and look for tools. There may be some helpful info there.
Also I am sure that some forum member will be able to answer your questions.
As far as your front landing gear, look at the switch. Look for a pink wire. Follow it, there may be an inline fuse. Also look behind the battery for a bank of breakers. There may be one with a tiny reset button on the side.
Also look to see if the previous owner installed a battery cutoff switch.
And check to see that the battery is charged.

Peace

Coy,

The fuse for the front landing gear is probably blown.

The fuse is located in the wiring harness directly behind the battery in the front storage department. It's a 30 amp mini fuse and the harness has a covered receptacle which houses the fuse.

This fuse can be a pain until you mark the upper and lower leg extension limits of the landing gear.

We always carry a spare pack of fuses in the front compartment for the occasional blown fuse.

If you have any other questions, feel free to send a message.

Coy,

Here's a video from Heartland showing a quick overview of the air mattress sofa - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-C8ZspX_BU

DO NOT leave the air mattress open when you close the sofa as shown in the video or it will probably get punctured by the sofa frame - always fold it back into the zipper bag at the foot of the open bed.

Once you have used it a couple of times, it really becomes simple (our grand kids love sleeping on it!)

Thanks for the GREAT INPUT from everyone...found the blown fuse & no more manual jacking !!!!! and viewed the video on the air mattress; I think we will soon be on top of the Sundance situation.
