Not sure I understand this from the ebay auction

Note: Before using shunt must first access the circuit and then draw digital ammeter head to prevent pressure damage to the meter

Here is the install guide.....I looked at it breifly, and did not see anything like that. BTW there is a pro model and a non pro model.

Some translators are better than others. I questioned the pressure rating on a voltmeter, who knows. I think what they are saying is hook up the 2 small power leads to the meter before connecting the shunt inline. That way the meter is turned on and ready when the shunt is hooked up. I'm going to get one for grins.

I remember something like that from my Bogart install.

Go to the Xantrex website and make sure you are getting the model you want. There is a pro model that might have more bang for the buck.
