FYI, beware, my 2011 VIN Edge M21 had the same right side unprotected brake wiring issue posted about else where on the Edge Community. The brake wires can rub against the edge of the frame rail and fail. Easy to fix, photo of one side fixed, one side OEM below. I did the brake wires to the back wheel the same way after I took the photo.
Update: I received a private message who indicated that this OEM method of running electric brake wiring on trailers is "standard" and causes almost no problems in normal use.
P.S. It is 98 degrees here today, I go outside and work a while on the trailer, then come in and do a post and cool off.
