I had a Norcold 2118 that would not cool, so I had JC Refrigeration replace it with a 12v compressor type unit, have a look on there web site.
‘It seems to work great compared to the old gas absorption unit, set it on 3 and forget it, freezer is at 0 most of the time.
‘Lately it has been throwing a DC/ Lo code, even when on 50 amp parked.
The folks at JC are baffled and can’t figure it out. They tell me to ignore it and run the unit by when we are close next month to put there hands on it. They suggest it could be from small glitches in the power supply ???
Has anyone else had this mod and do you have any codes popping up?
