We are on the road heading home from winter in AZ. We checked tires when we left Phoenix & in Holbrook and everything looked ok. When we got to Albuquerque we again checked the tires. There was considerable tread loss on the inside of the left rear tire. It also appeared to be leaking bearing grease although it had never tested hot while on the road. We had the tire changed but the service tech thought something else was going on. Another tech came today and diagnosed possible axel/spring/bearing issues. This is a 2011 Rushmore with Dexter axels. We have taken it about 20,000 miles since purchase in Oct. 2010 including a trip to Alaska however did not notice any tire issues until now. All other tires appear ok. We are scheduled for service on Monday. Anyone else had similar problems?
