Contemplating a New, Much Simpler Rig

Peggy and I came across this when we were touring the Grand Oaks Carriage Museum in Florida a couple of weeks ago. I think some of the interior design can still be found in some of today's smaller compact model travel trailers.

When we are driving around our (now) home state of Colorado, we often wonder how long it would take for newcomers today to just hold up and make a home where they are at!

The modern day Teardrop trailer does not seem to have changed much from the carriage at the museum. Maybe just the horsepower used to move it.
