Cyclone 3010 over the bed slideout spot light access?

I was wondering if anyone knows how I would go about accessing the over the bed slideout spot lights. I'm hoping to either "tweak" them to point in a better direction for reading lights or maybe tap into the wiring to add some other style reading lights.

So, how does one go about accessing them?

One starts experimenting then reports back here to let the rest of know

Seriously though (well I was serious above), I haven't taken mine apart but from the looks of it the covers just snap on.

I made a shelf for over the bed and we use a clamp on light with an extension cord over to the front side of the bed (closet side)
