Hello, Folks

We are in the process of purchasing a 2011 Edge M21. Our 1996 Jayco Eagle 256SL is an excellent camper, and has served us faithfully for 13 years with minimal problems. We are at the point, however, where a smaller, newer unit is attractive to us. This M21 is the first thing we have seen since we bought the Jayco that has actually impressed us enough to consider. This in spite of its rubber roof, fiberglass siding and slide, none of which interest me. The comfortable layout, apparent quality of construction and handy size are just what we wanted. Plus, it's just plain pretty! We are looking forward to many seasons of comfortable travel with this camper we are looking to this forum to help us learn its strengths and its weaknesses.

Hi Oliver,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum.

Be sure to check out operation of everything on the trailer before signing the papers. You may want to use the Pre-Delivery Checklist in this folder.

You'll also want to check the date code on the tires. Even if they look almost new, make sure the manufacturing date isn't more than 2 or 3 years ago. And if the sidewall says Towmax or Towmaster, you'll want different tires regardless of age.
