Past Heartland Ambassador
We started fulltiming in 2005 in a 33' TT...early on we met up with a group of Escapee friends in Quartzsite, AZ for a small rally. We started a business while in AZ and started doing shows and rallies all over the country.
One of the first rallies we did was a Holiday Rambler rally in Maine...while there we fell in love with an Alumascape Fifth Wheel...long story short, ten months later we couldn't wait to unload the thing...what a nightmare! So was Monaco who had bought HR...they were horrible to deal with. One of our Escapees friends had recently upgraded their Terry fiver to a new 2007 Bighorn and we were really impressed with it!! Loved the look and the construction. While the HR was having it's suspension completely rebuilt after if ripped off backing into a campsite...we ordered our 2008 Bighorn on line and picked it up in Ohio two months later!
Been Heartland owners ever since and have never regretted it! The Bighorn wasn't perfect, far from it, but the Company was! They have always been top notch in our book...and I gotta say, our second Heartland, our current 2013 Landmark Key Largo has been about as close to perfect as can be!! Life is good....
