Hydraulic hose leak
Yesterday I got a bucket out of the front storage compartment of my Landmark and it had hydraulic fluid in it. It was under the pump area. Got my flashlight and found that I have a fitting slightly leaking on a hose. I have an 2005 Landmark,Mt. Rushmore and behind the pump there is a red box with a hose coming out of it and runs over to the left landing gear. It attaches at the top. This line is leaking or I guess I should say seeping fluid where it connects at the red box and where it connects on the landing gear. I did not try to tighten the line yet,(I will soon),but if I do need to change the line is there any reason that I could not do it myself? I assume that I will need to have the camper hooked to the truck, with the landing gear and the slides all retracted. I can't tell that the landing gear are retracting any so far on their own, because of the leak ,but I know that over time they could. Any thoughts on this repair. Sure don't want to drive the 150 miles round trip to the dealer. There is a good rv repair shop near by I could use but if I can do the job myself I would rather. Thanks
