The dear wife left the sliding bedroom door unlatched and when moving the rear glide came undone/off. I am trying to figure out how to take the door off to repair it. Anybody out there help a poor mothers son?

Had same thing happen. You need to remove the top trim , I did the bedroom side. This will give you enough access to relatch the plastic clip.
Be gentle removing the trim. I chose to put the trim piece back with a couple screws so I could access it again if needed.

Rrloren,
Thanks for the reply... just being on this site makes a person smarter. After I had posted i slowed down and took a good look at the door and saw there is a plastic latch that if you throw, and lift straight up on the door... low and behold it comes right off. re-aligned the back post and bobs your uncle good as new.
thanks
