Initial shakedown cruise - short trip to Chehalis, WA

We're heading out later today with our new rig that we picked up Wednesday. We've been violating our 24 hour home owners association rule keeping it on our driveway for a few nights to properly outfit it for the road. Partied in it last night with a dozen neighbors and friends. What an awesome party palace! We'll be staying just two nights at the Thousand Trails park in Chehalis, which is about an hour and a half away from Washougal, WA. We've been Thousand Trails members for 8 years, using our 26' Komfort Trailblazer, until this weekend. I can't believe I agreed to head out on Memorial Weekend but we need a couple of trips before our six weeker in June and July. We're planning to head out again next week for for a couple of days at Columbia Hills State Park and fish Horsethief Lake. Hopefully, there will be no need to stop back at the dealer for any fixes but we are allowing time just in case. After returning from CA in July, we are in motion until the end of October. :) Should have more than 6,000 miles by the end of the year.

Good thing you didn't plan to head north though it could have really given it the shakedown, they also have better repair shops up north IMO.
Great places to head to though, lets hope the weather holds out this weekend ☼

We'll be in CA for our annual family gathering during the OR rally. We do plan to make the WA rally in late July, as well as a regional one in Temecula in October.
