Baylee is our new rescue.
She came from a hoarder situation on Long Island. Husband was bed ridden and somehow the family found a way to buy two Golden's from a pet store and breed them!
Baylee was whelped June 30, 2014 and she and her four siblings and the parents all lived in the house and NEVER went outside!
Not even for potty breaks.
A home health care aide suggested the owners place some of the dogs with rescue and they made the call. Long Island Golden Retriever Rescue pulled two of the puppies and named them Thelma and Louise. LIGRR eventually pulled another pup and the mother.
We were invited to apply for adoption and did a meet and greet out in Long Island and "Thelma" came home with us and got a new name as well.
House training is going very good considering her past. And literally everything is new to her. She flipped out when she saw her first snowflake.
Regis has come out of his depression from losing Molly, although he has met his match with this wild child.
Baylee is now on her first camping trip and is adapting great. Travels with no issues as well.
Be sure to stop by and say hello.
And when the sun finally comes out here in Myrtle Beach she'll get to see what the ocean is all about.
Don't know what it is with the dogs taking up the little bit of hallway space we have.
