New frames

At the factory tour I was really impressed with the new frames.Much heavier steel and the welds where a 110% better. Thank you Heartland.

That's what I was wondering, what changed and when did this change take place? Is this on all models?

I mentioned on RV.Net a few days ago that the number of new post about Lippert frames are almost non existent. I guessing that who ever engineers the frames have learned their lesson.Don

They have changed sometime in the last year since my last tour a year ago. I was touring the Big Country, Bighorn, and Landmark plant.

And all the steel was stamped USA.

I did notice USA stamped on our frame but thought they were all that way. Good to know.

USA stamped steel and a USA stamped frame are two different things. But, if domestic steel is being used to build our trailers, this is great.
