New Stabilizer Jack Motor Wiring

I have a new jack motor for my 2013 Cyclone 4100. The wires coming from the switch are Red and Black. The new motor wires are Black and White. If I connect the wires wrong, I expect the switch will just be backwards. Is that right, or will the motor be grounded out? Thanks or an advice.

Hi Kent,

If your stabilizer is part of the auto leveling system, you must get it connected correctly or the automatic functions will not work correctly. Try it out before you close up the wiring. Getting it backwards won't hurt anything, but once the stabilizers are down, when you turn on the control panel, they won't come up.

If you operate the stabilizer separately with a switch, and you get it backwards, you can fix it at the motor connection, or at the switch connectors, or just use the switch opposite of how you used to.

Thanks Dan. I operate the jack seperatly. You confirmed what i thought about the switch would just be backwards.
Thanks,
Kent
