galnelson, If your trailer is registered in the USA, any state, you won't need a CSA certification to enter Canada.
The paint option is entirely your call but... After a few years, the basic gel coat (front & rear caps) will start to fade and be near impossible to bring back the original luster. This is the same for any manufacturer with gel coat only. The paint option maintains its original luster and is easier to maintain. Just my opinion from personal experience with the gel coat.

X2 what Ray says. You won't have an issue up here with the CSA sticker. It's esentially just another way for the Government to add an additional inspection and tax to imported RV's for Canadian citizens.

We only got the partial paint,..but the full paint would have been real purdy.

Good luck! The 3010RE is an awesome floor plan in a 35' package.

galnelson,

We have the partial paint on our 3010re. I'm told to be very diligent about waxing the front cap on the painted units. I try totally wax the entire rig every year and get the front cap 4X a year. You will love the 3010re.
