Jackie and I just spent a week at the Raccoon SRA at Rockville, In.
Toured most of the covered bridges in the area. Enjoyed fantastic weather along with the brilliant fall colors.
We met another couple with an 08 Bighorn. Ron and Donna from Monon, IN. We had a good visit with them and
gave them an invite to join the Heartland owners club. Hope they take us up on the offer.

Is that the covered bridge at Mansfield? If it is you will have missed a nice festival this week and next at The Covered Bridge Festival. If you haven't been there, the fields and the town will be full with a huge flea market and garage sales. It'd really neat to see along with the fall colors. The best time to go is through the week when it isn't so crowded. It's been a lot of years since we stayed at Raccoon Lake. Used to go boating a lot over there.

Yes it is Mansfield. The original bridge was destroyed by arson in 2005, they rebuilt it in 2006.
We have other commitments for the week of the festival, so we couldn't stay for it.

Hello CE & Jackie, glad you enjoyed your stay there. We camped there a few times a few years back during the "Covered Bridge Festival" and liked the area. There used to be a bunch of raccoons roaming through the campground every night looking for something to steal. We are winding down on our trip (departed home July 31) and are at Navoo S.P. in Illinois now visiting Diane's relatives that live in this area then will move on down to Pittsfield, IL tomorrow for a few days to visit my relatives. The "Fall Color Drive Festival" is starting today so that is a bonus for the weekend. When we leave Pittsfield it will be back home for us for the winter.

Been to Navoo a couple of times. Interesting place.
If everything goes well, we will travel to Port Aransas, TX This winter.
Going to Carlyle this next week for the halloween week end. Plenty of propane, looks like we may need it.
Jackie has bought out wall marts candy for hadouts to all the little rug rats. Hope it's not to cold for them.
