rubber roof repair

We scraped a tree with the edge of the rubber roof on our 5er at Fall Creek Falls State Park campground (it goes without saying, no more stays at that tight, overgrown campground). We have about a 3 inch vertical tear and some smaller cuts along the edge. Anyone repaired these before? Any knowledge as to methods and/or materials used would be appreciated.

The current issue of Trailer Life has an excellent article on replacing the rubber roof. It tells of all the products to use.

Our dealer found some scrapes on the rubber roof and used Eternabond to seal the roof on our old BH 3055RL. It did the trick and we never had any problems with leaks.

Etenabond is an excellent product. Although not cheap it is something good to keep in your RV first aid kit. I have some in mine.
