Scott will surely chime in on this one but I want to pass along something I learned from Mor/Ryde.
At a Chicago RV show, I spoke to a Mor/Ryde Engineer and he told me that testing done on Heartland Landmarks showed no improvement with the shocks and possibly a slight detriment on some rigs depending on the weight load.
I don't know if this translates to the Cyclone but it may be an explanation for why you don't have any.
Actually, we have never had shocks on the Cyclone. It is a triple axle, leaf spring suspension coach and always has been. So, to answer your question, no, we didn't take off the shocks - we never had them.
I think you might be confusing "shackles" with "shocks". They are two different things. I just went through the specs we have on the web for the Cyclone and the this is the only thing I can think you were seeing.
Let me know.
