Switch to cut off power to radio/DVD

I wired a switch to cut the power to the radio/DVD for when we are running from just battery power. I know, I know....the clock has to be reset. I used to pull the fuse but that cuts the bedroom lights too. This also comes in handy when we park the rig at music festivals early and don't get shore power till the event starts. Ensures the fridge is the only thing running and will have igniter power and cooling fan power.

Nice! I'd like to have the same in ours so its just the fridge to power. Did you put the cut off right where it comes into the cabinet or further up to the box?

I cut the power wire right after it comes out of the harness right in the cabinet, soldered a couple longer pieces of wire on to get over to the switch.

Also to get a lighted switch like mine to work I fished a wire down to ground bar in basement instead of cutting ground wire.
