Call SeaLand and get the free repair/upgrade kit, takes about 10 minutes to install.

I called them and it was no problem. They're sending out a kit, no charge.

Last Saturday I went with a group here at the RV park to go deep sea fishing. On the way back the topic of toilet problems came up and I shared about this problem. So happens one the RVers had this problem and told me a simple fix. He told me not the release the foot peddle slowly. Instead, slide the foot off from the down position so that it slams shut. Well I've been doing that and sure enough the toilet is holding water. Now I have repair kit for future use.
