Travelling from Columbia Falls MY to Anacortes Wa

Hi folks. We will be travelling from Columbia Falls MT. to Anacortes WA (North of Seattle) in August. Google map routes us south on 28/93 to Interstate 90 through Spokane and travelling through Seattle from south to North I was hoping to get to Spokane and take a more northern route, maybe through Stevens Pass.
I have a 36 ' Bighorn with a F350. Any suggestions?
