Left Houston last Thursday, made it to Monroe LA. .second night we spent in Gadsden AL at Noccalula Falls. Third night finds us in Sevierville TN. Back to Texas this Sunday.

Towing: TV a 2010 Nissan Frontier with the 4.0 V-6
No WDH or sway bar. Feel none needed at this time.
Getting about 13.5 running at 60 to 62 MPH. Anything above 65 the wind resistance puts the brakes on big time. 80% of towing done in overdrive. Using Valvoline 5-30 synthetic.

Trailer: Brought too much stuff. Need to learn to travel with less. Only pulling with the fresh water tank at 1/3, just enough for emergency stops and hand washing.
Slide does not pull up snug at the top. Can be seen moving in and out 2 or three inches. Pointed this out to selling dealer twice and was assured this was normal, wouldn't hurt a thing. If it falls out into the road, I would not consider that normal. Leaving camp after the second night, had to push the slide in by hand. Have not been able to find a slide lock yet. Will contact Heartland once we get home.

Overall, we are satisfied. Plenty of storage if you don't try to bring the whole house with you. Tows well, with very little movement from 18 wheelers.
