One month ago, we replaced (ie.- upgraded) the axles, springs, wheels and tires on our 2013 Heartland Trail Runner.
The shop that did the work for us is also a heavy duty utility trailer builder and they recommended Hi Run tires, which they use on every trailer they sell, and after several conversations about BlowMax tires and all of the associated issues with the owner of the trailer builder, I decided to go with them.
The owner of the shop told me that they use the Hi-Run tires on every trailer they build and have not had
ANY issues with them.
Three weeks ago (while attending a Colorado HOC campout) we decided to trade our 2013 Heartland Trail Runner in for a 2015 Heartland Prowler 5th-wheel trailer, which on the dealers lot had BlowMax tires on it from the factory.
Ironically, the tires on the new Prowler were the same size as the new larger tires I had installed on our trade in (and only had 50 miles on them), so I had the dealership swap the tires and put my brand new Hi-Run tires on the new Prowler, and the BlowMax tires that were on it are now on our old Trail Runner on the dealership's used lot.
These tires now have about 80 miles on them, but we have our maiden voyage of our new Prowler coming up in two weeks . . .
I'll keep you informed!
By the by . . . this shop will
ALWAYS get my business when it comes to axle and wheel bearing upkeep . . . and not my dealership!
And I will highly recommend them for any of my fellow Colorado Heartland Owner's Club members who need that kind of work!
Or any other Heartland owner who finds themselves in Denver with trailer issues that needs to be fixed!

Also, I still have the original BlowMax tires that came on our 2013 Heartland Trail Runner still mounted on the original wheels.
My neighbor is thinking of buying them from me . . . if not, they will find themselves on Craigslist very soon!
