12 Volt hook up

We are trying to reinstall the battery in our RV for the summer season, we remove them for winterizing. Now my husband can't remember how to connect them. Can someone send me a picture or diagram on how to connect the batteries. We have a 5th Wheel Big Country 2013. Your're help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

If you have two 12 volt batteries, the installation probably looks like this:



Pos to Pos and Neg to Neg. Then Pos Cable and Neg Cable connected diagonally.

Be sure to check if they are 12v or 6v batteries. They will hook up differently depending on the voltage.

The 12V battery wiring is shown on the left of the cartoon below. Red wire is usually positive in the trailer, and white wire is usually negative.

Brians Example is the proper way to connect 2 12volt bateries in an RV. The negative cable in some RV.s is a Black wire. Make sure all connections are clean and tight.
