2010 Heartland North Trail 26 RKS

This trailer is in very good condition. It has been covered or kept at inside storage since new. One owner. Everything works. Electric tongue jack, Equal-I-Zer hitch, tv, memory foam mattress topper, all original paperwork/manuals. 6 gallon hot water heater, gas/electric fridge, microwave...

Does anyone know what these are?

I believe they go in the door of the fridge to keep things from falling over or moving around. They mount either on the inside of the door itself or on the rail on the door shelf. They keep smaller bottle or other items from moving around. The small fridge in my horse trailer has them.

    Older Halftime Microwave/Convection Oven

We have the older halftime convection/microwave oven in our 26RKS. When we took it out a few weeks ago I discovered the convection mode is not working. I press the button and nothing happens. The microwave and halftime functions are working. Does anyone know if there is a way to replace the...

Finally took our 2016 26LRSS on it's shakedown.

Silvasp, I love your idea! I will look for one of those.

Finally took our 2016 26LRSS on it's shakedown.

Hard to believe that Heartland is still installing the mirror/cabinet in the bathrooms so high. I'm five foot one and I can barely see my head in the mirror in the bathroom of our North Trail. I've considered installing a mirror on the wall next to the sink.

    Carbon Monoxide Detector

The Atwood/Kiddie CO detector that came with our 2010 North Trail has gone bad so we have been looked at replacements. The ones found at RV stores/dealerships are in the $80-$110 range but the ones found at home improvement stores are $20-$30. Can anyone tell me why the RV specific ones are so...

    Problem With Interior Wall

Thank you for the comments everyone! My DH has cleaned and resealed the top edge of the roof with self leveling sealer. I will kindly suggest he reseal the window. He was able to get some of the pimples to go down with the hair dryer but some of the larger ones remain. When we were out this...

    Problem With Interior Wall

The kitchen window is beside the affected area. The problem is about 3 inches beside the window. Between the window and the wall on the back side of the trailer. Not quite convinced water could have come in from the window and gone sideways. My husband is going to reseal the seam on the roof...

    Problem With Interior Wall

Thanks for the reply. Our trailer is out of warranty so we will have to either fix it ourselves or see if it gets worse. Do you know what cause the bumps? They are hard now so will the hair dryer trick still work?

    Problem With Interior Wall

I also posted this on the General Forum to look for advice. We have had our 2010 North Trail 26RKS in storage in our backyard since last August. Don't get me started on our lack of camping this year...LOL...just haven't gotten to it. Anyway, we are going to use it this weekend so we took off the...

Roof top air vents during travel

We always keep our vents open in warm weather while towing. All three of our vents have Maxxaires and love them. They are also useful to have if there is hail as they will break before before your vent cover. Learned this from experience! Also great for leaving vents open and not worrying about...

New North Trail 32Buds Caliper Edition Owner w/Questions-Issues

Sandy, We had the same problem with the bedroom door on our 26RKS but not to the extent of yours-ours did not actually break. It just wouldn't stay open with the strap. We augmented the strap with two clips attached to the door track. One clip on each side of the door to keep it from sliding...

North Trail 29 BUDS Bedroom Heat Issue

We've used space heaters in our North Trail several times so that we don't use up the propane. We've used two small heaters on different circuits with no problems. We only use heaters with tip-over kill switches and thermostats. Why use your propane when you can use the electricity at the park...

    ATF: North Trail - Ladder

Indengr, We also have a 2010 26 RKS and are interested in putting a ladder to the right of the kitchen window. I'm interested to see what you find out. Tracy
