    Help with gauge wiring...

Ok, I’m going to be of little help. Went out to the trailer yesterday and decided to unplug it from my 30 amp plugin and try the guage, what do you know, it worked. Plugged it back in and it still worked. So, I have a functioning gauge...for now.

    Help with gauge wiring...

Im currently ina similar situation as my guage is faulty as well. Looked through a bunch of posts and it appears as though that white wire is pretty common, may be for lighting the gauge so not needed? I plan on tearing into my panel tomorrow and will keep you apprised of my progress. I suspect...

Need educating on 6 volt batteries

Thanks for all the replies folks. My solar panel does a pretty good job charging the current set up. I do have 3 12v batteries hooked up, but I have no idea the size and I'm pretty sure they are cheapies. So the idea of going with larger/better 12v batteries is an option. I'm really not...

Need educating on 6 volt batteries

Greetings all, I have a 2017 RW 425 with a residential fridge that is giving me heartburn every time we boondock. So, I have a couple of 12v batteries and a GoPower solar panel and if I'm careful about opening and closing fridge we do ok. I'm considering a couple of 6 volt batteries but have...

    Ford OEM hitch or B&W

Greetings all, I have a new Ford F-350 but it did not come with the gooseneck prep package. I'm looking at the OEM hitch with the puck system, however, they are on back order and no idea when they will have one. The closest one I found was in CO, however, it will be over $800 to get it all...

    Prospective RW owner

We absolutely love the trailer! It is a great layout for the wife and our two daughters, plenty of space, it tows great and lots of storage. We've had a few minor things but I have taken care of them as the closest Heartland dealer is over 150 miles away.

    Prospective RW owner

We we ended up getting ours at Holman Motors in Batavia, OH. Good dealership to work with and the price was awesome. We had it shipped to SD using Uship.

    Another late Christmas present

Wow!! Lucky you were going slow and nice to see Anderson step up. Gives me something to think about that’s for sure.

    Another late Christmas present

I would be curious to know as well. The Anderson hitch I purchased is the older steel model and it seems pretty beefy, but it still doesn’t look as strong as the B&W, but they say it is so... - - - Updated - - - Agreed on the drilling part! I put cab lights and added a hitch to my previous...

    Another late Christmas present

Thanks fellas, now I need to decide if I’m going to use by B&W Companion hitch or I purchased an Anderson’s hitch this fall. Didn’t notice too big a difference with my last truck, but this new one will didn’t come with the 5th wheel prep so I’m trying to decide what to go with. Thoughts with...

    Another late Christmas present

Just sealed the deal on this 2017 F-350. I have always owned Ram trucks, but I will say this truck has a spectacular ride! Sorry for the rinky-dink pics, didn't want to deal with Photobucket today. This is what it will be towing:

Difference between Cyclone and Road Warrior

They are of course, made in the same factory and I do believe there might be a few more "bling" options on the Cyclone over the Road Warrior. That being said, I'm a pretty picky guy and I absolutely love our new Road Warrior 425. The layout is perfect for us and the quality and features are...

    Solar Panels

I recommend any of the GoPower set ups as that may be what your Mallard is set up for. I have the 120W GoPower unit and if you were just keeping up with normal usage, not a residential fridge, I think you'll be be fine.
