    Wheel well skirts

Hi there, You say you had the wheel well skirts replaced 3 times? I was wondering where you found the replacements? Both of mine have cracked in a few spots around a few screws, but now the paint has chipped and coming off one of them. So I was wondering how much they were, if the extended...

Could someone tell who makes my audio/video system? 2014 NT 32BUDS

I've always wondered why they can't put a decent sound system in RV's. You spend $50K on a 5th wheel, you would think you could at least have a half way decent sounding system. The speakers that came in my Big Country are SO BAD, it actually irritated me to play my Jensen when watching TV or...

Experience with XtraRide Extended RV Warranty

Well, as it turned out, ExtraRide accepted my claim. After such a traumatic experience and after hearing from what the original guy our repair guy talked to, and then having to wait a week to find out, you could see where I was thinking they would not accept the claim. But after a lot of...

Experience with XtraRide Extended RV Warranty

While staying in our '13 Big Country last week, we woke (actually my wife did, I was dead asleep) about an hour after we went to bed to find that our entire rig was full of smoke. About 20-30 seconds AFTER we woke up, our smoke alarm finally went off. Smelling burned wire, we figured it was an...

Getting satellite to the bedroom of my Big Country 3650RL

That's great! :) I'm going to try this wireless HDMI and then we'll see, guess I could always do the same.

Getting satellite to the bedroom of my Big Country 3650RL

Thanks Dan for explaining why there are 2 feeds for each room. I do have a DirecTV Slimline-5 dish and know I can send a cable to each feed, however as I stated, I don't want to bring 2 receivers with me when camping. So I guess I'll just have to do the wireless HDMI and give that a try...

Getting satellite to the bedroom of my Big Country 3650RL

This is the first 5th wheel that I've had such a hard time trying to get satellite to my bedroom tv. I have my satellite hooked up to the main tv but cannot for the life of me, figure out how they have it wired to the bedroom tv, without splitting the cable from the dish and bringing one of the...

    Question on replacing ceiling speakers

I love our new 2013 Big Country 3650RL, however, the only thing I cannot stand, is the tinny sound I get out of the tiny little ceiling speakers. I would like to replace them with a 5-1/4 flush speaker, but not sure how much room I have between the ceiling and the roof? Is there anyone out...

EVENT: Heartland Chapter Rally: NV, las vegas - 10/19/2012 to 10/21/2012

Floyd, I also would like to thank you for throwing the rally. Lori and I had a great time and look forward to meeting up with all the folks we met there at another rally sometime down the road!

    Need a satellite dish antenna

We've been RVing and using a DirecTV receiver in our RV for over 17 years and have NEVER had a problem. In fact, I kept one of our older receivers and just left in the RV and paid the extra $5 a month for the use of that receiver. It was easier than unhooking and bringing one of our receivers...

Congrats on the new trailer! Can't wait to see pictures of the Slimline Beer Cooler. I've got to get me one of those, it will sure free up space in the fridge (which will make the wife happy)....lol

Windy at the beach-electric awning headache

We've had manual awning on all of our previous 5th wheel's and loved them, because you could use the clamps on each side and attach to the metal frame. We would also put on side down, just in case it rained, which is what you should do so the rain will drain off. What made our campsite look...

    Fridge while travelling

I have been driving with the gas to the fridge for 16 years and have had no problems. The only time I turn it off is when the fridge is already cold and we have less than a 10 hour drive. The fridge holds the cold temp for at least that long.

ATF: Bighorn - Satellite dish location

I have always carried around my dish, first on a tripod and then I bought a Winegard dish that folded into itself with 50' or 100' of cable. I like having the ability to place the dish where I can get a signal, between the trees. If you have it mounted, you might find yourself in a spot where...

ATF: Landmark - Gray tank question (a little long)

I always drain my gray tanks one at a time, so I've never had that problem. I also never hook up my sewer hose until I'm leaving, unless we're staying longer than 2 days at any campsite. Reason being, anytime your sewer hose is out, there are many bad things that could happen to it (like...

    Stove Top Cover ???

Funny you're looking for one, cause we always take ours off of every RV we buy. My wife always likes to use a wooden cutting board with the rubber underneath and laying it on the stove, which is a great place to keep it while traveling. Also, in most coaches that we've had, when you use the...

    Weather and police

Great advice from Gasman. I would just add, that if you're in a real downpour and visibility is poor, then you should try and take an off ramp if possible and if not, pull as far as you can onto the shoulder with your flashers on, and wait it out until visibility is clear enough. Also, keep...

    Did it! Now what?

I have found that getting 2-10' sewer hoses that you can connect, are the way to go. That way if you are real close to the sewer, you don't have to have a 20' hose laying all around. Then when you need a 20', you also have that. Also get a thick schedule hose, that when you move the hose...

    2011 F350 SRW 6.7 4x4 FX4 20" Wheels Bed Height Issues?

The Trailer Air Pin Box, replaces your King pin box on your trailer. It is like a shock absorber, that will help absorb the ups and downs and front to back shakes as you travel down the road. As far as a slider for 5th wheel hitch, like you said Pappy, better to have it "just in case"...

    Bathroom towel bar suggestions

What we've had to do in the past, was to use the "over the door" type of towel rack. You can hang several towels on a 2 or 3 rung towel holder and you just hang it over the top of your bathroom door.

We just purchased a 2013 Big Country 3650RL and will be picking it up Memorial Day. We live in Vegas, so we'd love to come (hopefully we're in town that weekend). Oasis is an awesome RV Resort, my wife lived in our Montana 3400RL back in '08 when we first moved here. We currently haven't...

    New Big Country

Congratulations! We just bought our 2013 Big Country 3650 yesterday and will pick it up on Memorial Day. I've been pulling 5th wheels for 16 years and you will find as I have and many others, that it is no problem at all. Just remember to swing wide on your turns at intersections. Backing...
