Good luck, we bought a Cyclone 3712 in 2012 brand new and have had nothing but heartache and headaches. Everything has gone wrong from the landing gear to the toilet. Over 150 repairs thus far and counting. I understand your frustration. We feel this is the worst purchase we have ever made and...
Where / who do I contact to purchase two new fenders for our 2012 Cyclone 3712. Both the door side and off door side plastic fenders need to be replaced due to towmax tire blow outs.
Shopping for insurance today and we want replacement coverage. The agent asked me what the msrp value of our cyclone is with all the options. I don't know what it would have cost with all the options. We got a great deal on a new lot model. Anyone know how to get that #?? I looked up NADA values...
Hey thanks, I think you are right . I did some investigation and have found the same with the newer design of the Shurflo 5.7 pumps with built in backflow valve issues also. Seems that I have a combination of issues once again coincidentally enough, showing up at the same time. The black water...
We discovered the same issues last night. When connected to city water (switch on city) our holding tank is filling then overflowing. Everything is soaked including basement, Insulation sopping wet, wood underneath soft. We are also working and living out of RV. This is a huge inconvenience...
Hello fellow 5er owners. We too are suddenly experiencing H2o flooding the insulation under the heater and H2o heater, and pooling up on the black plastic liner located inside the sewer dump valve door if you feel up from inside there when I went to do a flush on the black water system yesterday...
Problem Discovered! Under the kitchen cabinets (which has no easy to access) there is a soft line for the drain that connects to a hard line. The hard line apparently had a crack in it up towards the top since day one but didn't start leaking until the crack had worked it's way down the pipe...
Water is pouring out from under my kitchen cabinets, outside kitchen is soaked and water is running out from unde the coroplast seems like we have water comming out from everywhere. Don't know what is the problem.Don't think it's the incomming water b/c when using the holding tank w/ pump on the...
Just filled the holding tanks for the first time (2/3 full). When I first turned on the pump it was very noisy. Then it quited down a bit but I can hear it constantly run (humming sound). Should it do that? Found the UDC side cargo pocket floor in wet this morning. No water on basement wall or...
We are preparing to go full time. We need phone and internet service. I must be able to use my lap top when ever and where ever we are. I just can't stand the thought of having to use one of those tiny phones to do everything I do on the web. I know nothing about all this 3g and 4g stuff I don't...
x2 Must do a PDI. A very thorough PDI. If it's a 2012 being sold as a used unit why did the last owner turn it in so soon? Maybe because it had problems? Check everything and then check it again. Someone on this forum has a great PDI check list. Search for PDI check list in the upper search box...
Congrats! I know you'll love your new Cyclone we love ours. It sure will look nice behind that silver TV (even though it's a Chevy) LOL! :) Have fun and be safe. Hope to see you on the road.
Re: Wow! HL Service provider telling me he "would never buy a Cyclone" Don't buy from Reliable RV in Spfd. Mo
Jim, thanks for passing the msg along.
Zoomzoommo, I am glad you have had a good experience w/ Reliable. I wish we had also. This is not the first time I have been offended by...
Welcome to RV lifestyle. You and your family are going to have years of wonderful memories. I have RV camped all my life, in fact I was even brought home from the hospital to a Motorhome. My best advice BEFORE you EVER pull out of a spot walk around the rig not once but twice. Look high and low...
Re: Wow! HL Service provider telling me he "would never buy a Cyclone" Don't buy from Reliable RV in Spfd. Mo
Trace, My thoughts exactly. I have placed a call to the service mgrs boss. Not sure if it is the dealership owner. Had to leave a msg. No response yet. But judging on how this...
I can't beleive it! Such horriable service from Reliable RV in Springfield MO.
We had to take our brand new 3712 Cyclone to the dealership (Reliable RV in Spfd. Mo) for some final repairs that we had noticed durring our PDI.
Yesterday while we were there to pick up our rig we were talking to...
Are your airbags adjustable? We have the Firestone airbags. No maintenance issues at all. We love them!! It made a huge improvement on how the truck handled while the Cyclone was being towed. We do have the on board remote air compressor (well worth the extra $$) so that when not hooked up we...
Nope, it's down the entire center of the rig. The floor looks flat until you step on it then you can see it move about 3/4 on an inch. The entire thing goes dudunk and bows downwards. Around the heater vent you can see the vent stays in place but the subfloor dips and comes to rest on the duct...
Sounds to me like you have the usuall squeeks and creeks. We could deal with that. It's to be expected. What we have going on it something totally different.
Can you see your floor move when it squeeks?
Hubby said he measured it and the floor is moving about 3/4 of an inch.
Great idea to make a video. I didn't even think of that! I am def. going to try. Rig is at dealer right now getting some warranty work done but when she gets home I will try to...
Our new 2012 Cyclone 3712 CK HD kitchen / loung floor is loose. When you step anywhere towards the middle of the coach you can see the floor indent. It pops, squeeks and makes all kinds of noise. It appears as if the subfloor is not attached to the frame in that area. My hubby says it could be...
Not sure exactly how many high grades between Mo and Ca but trust me there is a ton (especially Colorado)! Really long big pulls going that way. We were just in Northern Ca. last fall, we live just south of Springfield Mo. It's a long hard route. Our new 2012 Minivan had a hard time on some of...
One more for don't rotate. Too much trouble to break the tires down to switch rims. Havn't noticed much loss due to uneven ware. Front's need to be replaced a little sooner then the rear. Usually about 6 mths or so. But who wants to buy all 6 tires at the same time?
We will be workamping in California, but not for pay. Getting free stay/ hookups. We have a monthly income from SSDI we don't have to file fed taxes unless I make over $36k per yr.
We just have to say we LOVE this fourm!!! Everyone on here is great. So helpful and full of such great advice. It really makes owning a Heartland even more enjoyable. Thanks you everyone for the advice and info. It's not going to be as complicated as I had anticipated. Wheew! What a relief! I...
Thank you. We will look into that. Don't you have to show proof of address to get your drivers Lic.? If so what kind of proof are you goning to use. We are in a similar situation. We will not be working at least not getting paid to work our first season. We have a offer to workamp in N...
We are preparing to go full time. Selling our home so no home base, retired won't be working. Need some advice from those out there who have experience.
Should we registure everything in a state w/ no property tax?
Do we get our drivers lic from the same state?
And insurance, because it will...
Comming home from KS yesterday with our rig and spoted another Cyclone HD, westbound I-44 Missouri just outside of Mount Vernon. TV was a black Dodge. Looked like we were looking into a mirror. Nice setup except ours is better with the white F350 TV. hahaha! ;) If this was your rig. Reply to...
We have a F350 DRW Diesel and use it mostly for towing although it's the most confortable truck we've ever driven. Our F150 is the daily driver. Fuel and oil changes are just too high to drive the diesel everyday.
