Thanks for the replies, they are helpful. So switch may be fan on/off although the thing turns itself on and off as it opens and closes.

Thanks, yes aware of all that as I noted in my post. The question is what I have in the center, and why (if) the thermostat is not programmed correctly.

    Fireplace glass front fell off

Haven't had that happen yet, but I did notice today that only gravity is holding it down on the hooks and an inch or so of upward movement is enough to take it off. Handy when you need to clean it, not so when, like you experienced, the road is rough and the thing bounces around. I've been...

2020 Road Warrior 430 It appears I have one gasoline fill and there appears to be ONE 30G tank........Most toy haulers I've seen have 2 tanks...... Three roof top AC units. Aside from cooling the bedroom thermostat also offers "HEAT" with "FURNACE" displayed. It in fact controls the furnace...

    Bringing it home.....

The awning is MIA. Not sure whether PO had a storm, forgot to retract it and demo'd it on departure or whether it came undone on the road, but it's gone. (This was figured into the price). It's the only real "not as new" item. Other than that the coach is in very good shape.

    Bringing it home.....

Picked up our new (to us) 2020 430 today, in the snow. Third time I've done that in the last 10 years for some reason. Guess I like buying in the slow season. I Must say the RAM and the RW ride much better than the Cyclone and Chevy 3500 I had in 2011. Now sitting in the driveway getting deep...

    2018 413 rw tv

I suspect that the official mount will be many times what you can buy a similar one for on Amazon. TV covers the holes. Then add a nice big smart TV from big box store and you're set to go. BTW I don't think it's missing. Wife seems to recall it was an option and ours is not there either.

    I'm baaaack!

Just jumped into a 2020 RW 430, picking up next week. It's never really been loved much but hasn't been abused. Some cleaning and a new awning and it'll be good as new. Not new to these pages. Sold our Cyclone about 5 years ago. In between had a diesel pusher. So I'm back. I'll have a few...

Adding Rear Hitch Receiver to RW 400

While the debate about whether and where you can drive triples and how long they can be is valid, there is one other minor issue. Where on your fiver do you find the max allowable tow weight from the RV manufacturer (ie Heartland) ? In fact, is the trailer designed and rated for towing anything...

    2015 Cyclone 4200

Congratulations on your new unit, enjoy. Biggest lessons I learned: 1 Weigh it. Put all the beer, beans and bedding on and weigh it. You'll be surprised. Sounds like you have enough truck, but the CCC on a well equipped unit is a lot less thank you think. I use a little flow gauge (under $10...

That is something that can bee seen and decided on by the shopper....... What is unconscionable is the stuff you can't see...... improper sealing, undersized and overtorqued fasteners, shoddy workmanship. If you build a product that is disposable you should put that in the brochure. "Not...

ATF: Cyclone - Cyclone 3100 toy hauler ramp

I don't even want to think what the dealer would charge for that. Yes, at some point I'll order them. Looks like keeping the door closed and latched, with the appropriate thickness shims between the bottom and the frame to keep it from settling down should work. I figured I'd close the door...

Yes, with the "arms race" to bring the square footage and amenities people have come to expect.... (and we're guilty with our 45 foot monsters) whilst still being able to be pulled by a "pickup truck" even if it IS a 3500 or 450 dually the manufacturers have worked themselves into a "weight...

Well, you just made the "we suck less" point. The bottom line is that the industry puts out a product that could be a lot better. And, what's getting us all aggravated about it is that it would take the same, or occasionally slightly better materials, and the same amount of time in planning and...

I had a conversation with a successful professional (not in the RV industry) that was born and raised in the Elkhart community and knows many of the manufacturers. He told me the same thing. Tight is good, stripped is better. Yes, I would pay a few thousand extra for some more attention to...

    fuel tank venting

    Keeping the water out.

Was all over the roof today, and fortunately, a river of Dicor is well, a river of Dicor. At least no bean counter has found a "better" way to do that. So, the roof appears healthy. The trim that screws the membrane to the side wall is also reasonably caulked. So cautiously optimistic there...

They are shoving it out the door as fast as they can. Customer service is top notch, as long as you don't push back. People are buying it. A free market at it's best. Are the buyers informed? **** no... but is it Caveat Emptor or are the manufacturers guilty of smoke and mirrors? So, what's...

So what you're looking for is something like in the pictures attached. This would be a recipe for disaster. It's the bottom facia on the bedroom slide. OK, 1300 miles, an Uber, a Bus and 4 airplanes later I am back home. The flex is either fixed or negligible. The trim on the separator wall is coming loose, but I don't think it's flex, I think it's because they're attached with T-50 staples. The service at the plant was excellent. Again, the...
