This should be the first post for searching for a solution to the "GFCI continually trips on the Magnum CSW1012 100w inverter" problem. Took about an hour from the time I unlocked to relocking the front hatch. Expense is minimal, the cost of a "GOOD GFCI OUTLET". So far it's been providing...
Just the info I needed to confirm the hunch I had about the GFCI being the culprit. About an hours fix and all looks good.
Thanks for the discussion. Roaming around the Colorado Rockies now so really need that circuit doing it's job.
Great idea.
Can I ask another seemingly silly unrelated question?
I would like to add the map and signature but for the life of me can not find the "Additional Options area" or "Manage Attachments button" that Jim mentions in his instructions for adding pictures and such. Am I missing the...
From the sound of that mounting the thing to plywood surrounded by more hard plywood walls might not be the most favorable method or space for quiet operation. This unit is loud enough that without a fan between it and us it really is an annoyance to easy sleep. If it would only compare t the...
Thanks for the reply Branson.
This sound is coming from inside the SurgeGuard. I popped the cover up and it grew louder, needless to say. That confirmed the source of the noise. Will have ti wait until I get close to another one of these beautiful beast to compare.
We noticed that the heat vent was starting to show signs of something rubbing the paint off. I watch as the slide came in and it maintained a clearance beneath it all during the inward travel. I ran a yard stick along the floor to make sure there was no contact. Then when I set up at the next...
Starting in June we began to notice a loud hum coming from under the shower walk through area. Moved enough stuff in the storage area to get close enough to confirm it was coming from behind the rear wall. Called Heartland customer service to ask about what it might be and was asked if I had...
Re: Hydrolic Brake failure
Hello Jim. We met at the Tampa RV show last winter. I was the persistent fella that stopped by several times that thought the toilet room needed a vanity cabinet above the sink instead of a mirror.
Sorry to hear that you ran into the same brake line issue. I...
Re: Hydrolic Brake failure
The line actually broke at the fitting. My guess is that the line was a tad short so someone gave it a tweak which gave it a little stress spot at the failure point. The axle and caliper move together so I can see where if everything is attached and mounted together...
Re: Hydrolic Brake failure
Found the same thing when I removed the rear storage wall while searching for the source of a loud hum that ended up was coming from the power surge protector. Could see the ground even though it is suppose to have the Yeti Package. Will probably have to look into...
I just explained where we are now with the brake problem but I guess it got swallowed up by the web monsters.
We are still trying to resolve the issue do to not replacing the E/H actuator after it ran dry of fluid.
Re: Hydrolic Brake failure
The flexible hose drops from the frame to the axle to compensate for the normal movement of the axle. That line goes to a tee block which is where the steel lines join that run out to the calipers.
Our Savannah came with hydraulic disc brakes. Recently we had a line break which leads to an instant and total brake failure. Ours happened when a tractor trailer in front of us did a very quick stop which did cause a bit of a panic when all that stopped us was the trucks brakes. Upon inspecting...
Hello out there in Heartland Land
We are wondering if anyone might know the capacities of each of the two grey tanks. Seems a bit odd that this is not posted on the Heartland website. They give a total capacity of 90 gals for grey but each could be of differing sizes as the case was in our...
Did not disrupt the fdiscussionersation. If this person does indeed work in the field construction trades then their opion interests me more then the brand on brand debates. We are going to the Tampa RV Super show in a couple of weeks and opinions and suggestions based upon living in their 5er...
