Pictures of Cyclone 3950 loaded with bikes

I assume you have a 12 foot garage as I do in these photos of the garage in my Cyclone 3795. I have loaded 4 dirtbikes using this technique and still had room for a utility quad and a sport quad parked side by side. The bikes were loaded with each successive bike facing the opposite direction as...

Fuel station pump on a 2011 3950 HD

Just to be sure, hopefully you know that there is another switch on the side of the pump that needs to be activated. I assume that you knew that. A lot of these pumps have had problems with the pump gears swelling to the point that they won't turn, and therefore, pump. Replacement gears are...

    My 2010 3010 trailer weights w F250....

Re: My 2010 3010 trailer wieghts w F250.... Sorry, but I can't figure how the pin weight was obtained without weighing the truck by itself before loading with the trailer. Is it just a percentage of the total trailer weight? Seems a little inaccurate to me.

    Timbren Helper Springs

I have the Firestone airbags and live in the high sierra mountain range in CA. Commonly 15 degrees in the winter. Used to have to drive to work through snow, freezing rain, etc. I have had no problems with my bags at all. This is definitely the best investment I have made to my truck for when I...

    Axle weight rating reduce

Just all the info seen on this forum and the rv.net forum. Alot of guys will go with Michelins after converting to 16's. That is alot of money! I know safety is first and money should be no object but I didn't feel I needed to go that big, so to speak. It seems as the LT tires don't have as much...

    Axle weight rating reduce

Never did have the alignment checked. Did my first trip since new combo put on. 1000 miles and absolutely no wear. With the old set I could see a noticeable amount of wear after 1000 miles. I'm just going to keep an eye on it for now. Got another trip coming up. Probably only about 500 miles.

    Axle weight rating reduce

My 225/75-15's were wearing strangely on the front and rear axles. I thought I had an alignment problem. Tires on front axle wore out after about 5000 miles or less. I kept putting off getting the alignment checked because the nearest shop is 200miles away. Came time for my next trip and had to...

    6v vs. 12v

Anyone swap out their 2-12volt batteries for 2-6volt batteries? My two 12v batteries I think won't do the job anymore. I got 4 years out of them. I'm considering replacing them with 2 6v ones. Anyone have experience with both? Which way is better?

    Well, I Chickened Out (Tires)

I too felt the need for an upgrade. I went from the factory 15 inch to 16 inch wheels and ended up putting on LT tires on. I had 15 inch D rated tires that wore out really fast. I now have 16 inch E rated tires and more peace of mind. I also like how they fill the wheel well better. Sorry if...

    "Early" vs. "Late" 2004 Ford F250 ?

The late model 2004 may also have front coils as opposed to leaf springs. This makes a HUGE difference in the way that the truck drives and rides. Also get bigger front discs and a sharper turning radius. I know this changed for the 05's, but was thinking maybe late 04's got it too.

Looking to purchase a 2812, will my F250 pull it??

You have to weigh your truck with a full tank of fuel and hitch installed, then include all of the people that will be in the truck when pulling. Then look at your door sticker to find out GVWR-Gross vehicle weight rating. Then find out the expected pin weight of the 5th wheel and add that to...

    Dometic fridge problem

I called Dometic and they said I needed to replace the circuit board, then gave me a replacement part # that didn't match the one I have. I then called Dinosaur electronics and they have the exact replacement board #. I ordered the board from Dinosaur. We'll see how it works. Thanks for all the...

This is what I installed. Takes the 50 amps you wire up and splits it into the appropriate amps according to the plug being used.

    Dometic fridge problem

Re: Dometic frige problem I have become familiar with the Dinosaur board through my online research. They definitely sound better. With the photos of said board, I cannot see a place for the ignitor to plug into. Did yours have this? I doubt I am still in warranty as the unit is 3-4 years old.

    Dometic fridge problem

Re: Dometic frige problem There are no mobile RV service guy either. I am unable to see the spark gap because the tip of the ignitor is inside a vertical tube, it actually gets screwed into this tube. I checked the ignitor wire for continuity and it was good. I think if it might be jumping to...

    Dometic fridge problem

My refrigerator quit working on gas. I can't hear the ignitor anymore but hear the gas valve open up like it should. Definitely have 12 volts to the circuit board and the unit works fine on AC. sewer Hose

On my 3795, I used to store the hose in the external bins but I wanted to keep wheel chocks and wood blocks in there instead. I mounted a 4" sewer PVC tube to the underside on driver's side just in front of the large slide out. There was some "L" shaped steel brackets there that I just bolted...

    Wheels:15in. vs 16in.

Let's say I was to change to 16in. wheels, what is the typical tire size for the 16's? Right now I have 3-4 inches of space between my 15in. tires, so I think I have plenty of room.

    Wheels:15in. vs 16in.

That's kind of what I figured but I still feel a bit "cheated". I guess if I wanted to get picky, the load range D tires that are on the rig can handle a load of 2540# each, that's 5080 per axle that has a load capacity of 5200#. Might be a problem if I ever loaded it to the 18k# GVWR, but I...

Heat in Garage of Cyclone 3010

In my 3795 the fridge was right next to the garage wall and the heater is under the fridge. There are additional outlets in the heater which come with covers over them. I just tapped into one of those and ran a new vent through the wall and used a wall mounted discharge vent I think is...

    Wheels:15in. vs 16in.

This is not really a true weight issue but didn't know where to discuss this: I've had my Cyclone 3795 for 2 years now, and recently began thinking about putting wire mesh around my king pin box to help avoid the annual bird nest. I never noticed and read my GVWR sticker that is on the box. It...

Mounting wheel chocks and Tie downs in 3010

I didn't bolt them through the frame rail. I used 1 inch self tapping ( I think they were self tapping) wood screws. They are plenty strong since there are a lot of holes to screw through. I have had 3 bikes, one utility quad and one sport quad back there, all tied into the tie downs.

Mounting wheel chocks and Tie downs in 3010

For the dirtbikes, if you tie them in using this method (with the aircraft tiedown rails) you don't need chocks. For the heavier, and probably longer, streetbike, not sure.

    Air Bag Inflation Question

I put in about 30 pounds prior to hook up. I have the onboard controller and gauge mounted inside my glovebox, compressor mounted just in front of the fuel tank. I usually run 60-65 pounds. Lugging ford

If it's like mine, 2005 PSD, it's probably due to not enough rpm's. Too much boost for the amount of rpm's. Mine did this, started when going up a grade and rpm's were lower than about 2600. The extra pedal needed to go up the grade made more boost, too much for the engine to take and there is...

    Tires under weight rating

I have a 2007 Cyclone 3795. I love it and it works well for my family. I was inspecting my tires the other day and noticed a few cracks in the sidewall. As I was researching for new tire purchase, I realized that the tires/wheels that came with the rig (225/75-15 load range D) can only carry...
