When are some pictures of the new North Trail with the outside entertainment center going to show up on the Heartland website? I can't wait to see the floor plan, I have only seen a few outside pictures on the internet. Great job Heartland and North Trail.
I need to re-caulk around my running lights and around the stove exhaust vent. I may go ahead and do around the slide as well. What should I use silicon or acrylic caulk?
Nice job and great story to go with them. I have looked at the pictures, I see the winch to get the trailer on. It's probably simple, but how will you get the trailer back down? Will you change the winch direction with a pulley or something like that?
Pretty much the same trailer, different graphics package. I think I read that when Heartland started the Northtrail line was going to be the bumper pull line and the Sundance was going to be the 5th wheel line. The 7200 sounds right for towing weight.
We go 2 or 3 times a year. We will be there in June also. The only thing I would tell you is don't waste the money on the premium site. The difference in the sites is the size of the concrete pad.
Is this an extended warranty or a Camping World service plan? I did buy a 3 year extended warranty for my North Trail, because Heartland was so new at the time.
That really does not surprise me. Every time I have been in there since buying my North Trail, they have new people. My salesman was gone a week after buying my NT. The last time I took my NT for service, the service rep was gone when I called to find out what was going on with my trailer. The...
Lug size is 13/16"
I would put a couple of 2x6 down behind the good tire and back up on them. That will lift the trailer enough to change the tire. I would only use a jack if both tires were blown on the same side. With the 2x6s there is no stress on the frame and no guess work were to put a jack.
Snow can weigh 25 - 30 Lbs per square foot. That is a lot of weight in one area and over along period of time. Depending on how much snow and ice you had over the winter there could of been several hundred pounds sitting in one place. I would not think there is any TT roof built for that type of...
As much as we like our North Trail, I would look at the Razor TT. I know there is an obvious price and weight difference. But I think it may suit you better. I may be tared and feathered by my North trail buddies, buy I got a call from our dealer last night that a Cyclone with a floor plan we...
I carry a golf cart in mine. I have not had it on the scales yet, we are pretty sure it weighs over 800 LBS. With my truck it does not even squat the rear springs when loaded. I have a 1200 lbs tongue max on my truck, so I may be close. What I do is lower the front end of the trailer to reduce...
You could hang a picture or something over it. I built a 2x4 frame and secured it to the floor and the wall frame. Someone would have to remove that whole frame and the plywood for the bed to take the safe out.
Just watched my neighbor repack his wheel bearings. He put a couple of 2x6 boards under the tire and backed up. This pulled the other tire off the ground and gave plenty of room to get the tire off.
I am tinting mine in the next few weeks. The main reasons we are tinting is to keep the sun from fading the fabrics and to add a layer of insulation for both summer and winter. I have not decided on a good grade automotive or home grade film.
In the '09 brochures for the North Trail (280BH) and the Sundance (3300RC) they each have a toy hauler floor plan that has a side load ramp. They are marked as Fun Haulers.
The flex extension is for your slide if you were to lose power. You will need a ratchet or cordless drill to get the slide in or out. It will fit in to the slide motor.
The drain for your fresh water tank is to the left of the steps about 18 inches back. The tank is on the door side right above the wheel well. I was not too happy with the cushion covering the bench seat either, I was afraid it was going to come off also. I used three 3/4 inch L brackets to...
The flex extension is to operate your slide if you lose power. Look under your jack knife sofa on the far left. You should see were the extension goes in. You will need a ratchet or power drill.
We looked in the '09 today. The handle on the front sliding bed is a nice addition. That was the first thing I added on our '08. The front bed foot board is also built better. Nice job on the changes.
There is a Hearland dealer and service in Ridgeland Sc Exit 21 on I-95. It is Boat n Rv Warehouse. They have been great servicing our North Trail. They had about 12 or so North Trails on the lot a few weeks ago. I will be in there Monday if you would like for me to check on a model for you.
