Heartland as always in the past installed 2 . One inch side of the frame. Look at the same spot on the passenger side. Should be an overfill pipe there as well.
There should be 2 overfill spouts that are on each side of the tank. They are suppposed to protrude out on each side of unit around the frame. Usually behind the wheels
It looks like the rubber roof is splitting. Contact Dicor and tell them you have pics of the issue. It should have a 12 yr warranty on the product. They may offer you some money , maybe new roofing materiel, ( installed at your expense) or they may feel it is from lack of maintenance. You will...
Are you looking at a towable/ 5 th wheel. If so. It all depends on your tow vehicle. If you do not currently own a tow vehicle… do not buy under size vehicle … safety is your priority
Also when filling the tank keep the pressure relief valve closed. Your water heater must have a small amount of air at the top for expansion. If you open the pressure valve and allow air to escape your tank will fill to the top. When the water expands there is no room and it forces the pressure...
Sounds like the pipe you found is the overflow valve for the tank, also should be one on opposite side. The drain should have a valve on the end to prevent lose of water. Most likely not put through coroplast from factory . If you are able to unbolt the coroplast on the driver side. Small...
They look very slack. If your unit is still under warranty, have dealer adjust. If not under warranty I would contact a mobile repair company and have them complete the adjustment.
it will be tight. My door opening is 28.1/4 inches wide. No issue getting the old stuff out. A little challenging with the new stuff but it did fit by tilting it sideways. New couch was 28 inch wide and then had wrapping. Tight fit but it’s in. Make sure you measure your new furniture closely.
I have a bighorn. Took mine out the door and installed new furniture through same opening. Main door. You must make sure what you purchase will fit through the door opening.
You should line the Alliance made product. I’ve heard nothing but good vibes about these units. All units will have some issues but if they service what they sell then they will do well in the industry.Today service is what is lacking in all areas of the world.Manufacturers have forgotten this...
I had this issue and it was a collapsed equalizer but could be a number of issues. As stated. Get it checked at a big rig shop and get rid of the headaches. All manufacturers and suppliers pay the blame game. Don’t mind kissing your butt to get you to buy but don’t like to stand behind the unit...
Yes. Your fridge has a fan relay switch that activated the fans when too much heat builds up at the back of the fridge. Usually the fans will run for a while and shut off. If yours is running for a few seconds and shutting off and on… you may have a bad relay. It is mounted on the top find on...
Nope. Too much torque with those heavy torsion bars. They won’t have any spring to them and the tongue of your trailer is taking the flex. Contact the company ETrailer and ask to speak to one of their techs. Tell them what has happened to your unit and get their opinion as to the strength of...
Are you saying 1200 lb torsion bars or 12000 lb bars. If they are 12000 lbs capacity . I would say they are too strong and the torque is bending your hitch.
There should be a round opening in the shower. Remove the cover. This may allow you to see where the leak is … it’s probably not going to allow you access to fix it. Depending where your shower is located in your unit , you maybe able to access from another wall area .
What strength are your torsion bars. Maybe too strong for your need. I have a friend who bent his hitch on the truck. Torsion bars were too strong for the hitch.
You maybe put too much tension on the trailer frame. Just a suggestion.
I added a hitch to my bighorn. First I bolted with grade 8 bolts a piece of 4 inch channel 2/4 inch wall thick to the bottom of my frame. Installed the channel 1/2 inch from electric legs. I then designed a hitch to mount the brackets. I built it out of 2/4 boards to get the exact specs. Once I...
What is the brand name of the tires that came on your unit. How old are these tires. I can see on the side wall pic that it stated they were made in the USA. Maybe they have some warranty against blowouts. I certainly would be contacting them and discussing the situation to see if you can get...
Take a knife blade and be careful and the back should pop out. You can see the fine line where the back snaps into the front section. Yours is different from mine. Mine has screws holding the back in place. It still snaps out once the screws are removed
Take out the island. Cut the flooring under the island . Lift up the flooring,,it’s not glued and pick out the nut. You can you a hair dryer to help the flooring lay backdown where the nut was located re install island
Heartland is owned by Thor Ind. — who owns the majority of the brands on the market. No one is better than the next. We as consumers buy and they will not make any major changes to what comes out of the factories. If we don’t like what they sell then we will have to stop camping.
