It was an option that sold for $125. I've never used it but there are numerous comments about this hitch, mostly if not all bad.

Both pedestals have the 100 amp main breaker. I'll be sure to bring this up when I talk to the installer again. I haven't purchased a unit yet so hopefully can find and make one work.

I forgot to mention that power isn't an issue as I would use this setup on a rv lot I own in Arizona and at my daughters in Montana where power wouldn't be an issue either. Both power pedestals are 100 amp with a 50, a 30 and a 20 amp receptacle.

Has anyone tried installing a residential min split ac unit in their trailer?
I plan on spending the summer in the Arizona desert and my rooftop units can't keep up when the temps start hitting the high 90s.
I've got a 42 ft Bighorn and am thinking of mounting an 18k btu compressor on a rack...
My fireplace is squeaking. Is the fireplace a sealed system or is there someplace I can oil the flame as it is the only part that rotates.

Channel Master makes a DVR OTA unit that works quite nicely. It's cheaper than TIVO and no monthly fees. I've had mine for a year and I'm very happy with the unit.

I've always used them. It really helps stabilizing while its windy and helps with some of the bounce from normal walking.
I only use enough pressure to support and check them weekly or after a rain as I'm sitting on packed rock.

Dually all the way, stabilty and safety. If you get a rear blowout with a dually, you'll be better equiped to pull over to safety.

I don't mean to hijack but I'm trying to install a Spendide washer in a 3875FB. I bought the drain pan but where can I route the plumbing. To the best of my measurements, if I go straight down , it will come out on the overhang.

I've lived in my 2015 3875FB over 2 and a half years. I've never had any water problems related to the cold. I've been in the low 20s and I use the yeti system to prevent the tank and line from the pump from freezing.
I absoltely would recommend this floor plan to anyone interested in a bath...
I'm going to Samson because the local tire dealer couldn't get Sailuns. Why not try a different brand, maybe Samson will be better than Sailuns.
Here's a picture of what I call scrubbed.
Notice the inner and outer tread is gone. I've aleays ran the tires with 110 pounds.

I'm changing out my Sailuns after 4 years. They were pretty scrubbed on the inside and outside.
I'm going to try Samson, I haven't seen too many problems posted here and other chat sites.

I have a 2015 Bighorn, gross weight 16,000. I've got the Sailun tires at 110 pounds.
Question is, what is the recommendedd torque for the lug nuts?

I understand the dicor for the roof and front and rear caps. What about the caulk that holds the rubber D seals in place, the side molding, around the tops of the windows, over the cargo doors, etc.

What type of caulk should be used on the exterior? I know not to use silicon, but there is a siliconized caulk, an acrylic caulk, and of course the dicor self level and no sag.

I have the 2015 FB3875, I've lived in it full time for 21 months and have had no major issues and only a few small ones, mostly cosmetic.

Call Heartland to determine where the backer plate is located.
The lovely ladies will be more than happy to send you a diagram.
Part of the wiring is in the roof under the blank plate. There should also be a control wire located near the antenna booster switch.

Re: Having Awning Issue
The same thing happened to me, if you use a little bit of soap on that nylon anchor Rod whatever you want to call it, it'll make it a lot easier pushing it back in and then what I did to keep the awning from shifting again, I put a screw in it the end.

Here in Quartzsite from the campground, there is usually 6 to 9 Birds buzzing around up high. I don't think I've ever seen any of them pay any attention at all to any RV roof. They seem to roost in the tall palm trees, maybe that's what attracts them to campgrounds.

I use slide stabilizers. I don't use a king pin stand because I have a flex air pin box. I do use wheel chocks and three inch wooden pads. I have barely any movement except when the wind is blowing.

Did you have a problem with part of the frame pushing against the front wall not allowing it to be pulled back tight?
What would have caused this?
Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
While moving stuff around inside the generator compartment, on each side the front wall is pulling away from the metal supports coming down. You can see where each side has a screw head already broken off. The bottom of the compartment is tight, there's no gap, it's just on the sides there...
