My fifth wheel is 26ft 6,600 dry I pull it fine with my 1500 z71. I'm not going out every weekend or driving thousands of miles though. I'm a "in state camper" now so if I did major traveling I would opt for a bigger truck.
I'm bias but the north shore on lake superior,MN is excellent in the fall. Full of campgrounds from Duluth to Grand Marias. Taylors Falls,MN/WI. St Croix splits the two states (MN side is better of course). is full of campgrounds and water parks.

Finally decided to take the family camping with out the tent.

The heat is good for the tint, thats how its put on. Just be sure your careful taking the foil on and off or you could scratch the tint. The warmer it gets the more like to scratch. If your going to do that I would custom cut some cardboard pieces an wrap in foil. I will be doing this for the...
I have a 1500 shortbox. Pulls my fifth wheel fine (26ft 6k drywght) You don't need a slider. What you need is a king pin extender if there is not one on there. I can **** near make a 90 degree turn. As far as braking thats why you have an electronic brake mounted. I believe you need them...
